Yuck. it really urghs me out to see how people are so 'faithful' in supporting countries for the world cup. its either you do, or you dont. simple as that. you dont just 'support' the most hyped-up or touted "best" country. you try so hard so that you can have a topic to discuss with girls and boys who follow the world cup. then you act all passionate when you dont even know who's in the country you're supporting. then you just go round saying brazil's gonna win when you dont even know whos brazil gonna play against. and then when they lose, you just go on and support the next-best country. urgh. please. either you be a true supporter, or just don at all. because if you're trying to fit in, its not happening.
poof. enough ranting. but yea. it does erk me out when people try too hard. no one's forcing you to supporting anything, so just dont la! aiyoh. simple as that.
but after world cup is over, i hope i can still be as passionate as football as i am for now because i've learnt so much more about the players and the game this past month. and of course, its a great way to bond with friends. :)
