Mood: Happy :)
Music: OLIVER JAMES - LONG TIME COMING
THIS. Is the song of the week. My pick of course. Haha. Thanks to Joycelyn's eagerness in promoting Oliver James, I finally managed to go online and search him on Youtube and he's so fabulous! (Vocals, looks, musicality, the list just goes on and on...) And it's what's making me so happy!
Good music + Good-looking singer = Very happy Priscilla (:
Now isn't this nicer than all your y=mx+c equations? :)
Because I feel like blogging, I shall do a break down of my exam for my own remembrance, and of course if you feel like reading it haha.
Literature - WAS PURE HELL. I spent so long trying to decide between essay or unseen in the end it was just a half-hearted attempt at unseen. To say it was horrid, is a TOTAL UNDERSTATEMENT. I saw the prose and I went "Oh my shit?!" and then I saw poetry and went "What the double shit?!" So yeah. Did prose and died. Seriously. All I wrote down was just phrases and quotes strung together by nouns and verbs. "So.." "Therefore.." oh my goodness.
So after literature I just stayed back in school with Cheryl to do a bit of Chemistry and Emath, then rushed down to Macs to meet Isaac for a crash physics course. Which totally worked because I understood Latent Heat and Moments!
And then Chemistry tuition, which was spent doing everything but Chemistry, and it was so funny!
"Hey you're in triple science right?"
[Uh... uh...yeah. And you? Physics-Bio right?]
"Uh huh and if I take Physics-Bio, why would I be in CHEMISTRY tuition?"
HAHAHAHAHA. Seriously funny! Then we did bio ("Okay this is a flower! *points to something that hardly resembles one* where's the ovary and stamen!" "What's that? Penis?! Haha!") and Wen Han gave a crash course for me "This is your medulla, your hypothalamus, your thalamus, your midbrain, remember the functions of all, and where they are located, and also for your plants..." which left me in a very dazed and worried state because I had ZERO knowledge of what he was talking about. Of course, that changed few days after :)
And I was asking physics to everyone. ("Eh Steph, can you do this?" *proceeds to do and hands back the tys* "Oh alright thanks." "Ehh how do you do this!" [Uh, I'm not too sure really] "RAJ! How to do!" And seriously, Raj is like, the best ever. Haha he's so smart, it's rather scary. He can do JC Chem AND Physics! And he spends his Christmas studying hahaha. And yea, he did the question, and attempted to explain it to me, but then because my brain had reached saturation point, nothing got in and I gave him a blank face and he explained like FIVE times but I still didn't get it and I didn't wanna make him think I'm mentally incompetent so I just nodded and went "Oh alright. Thanks!" Hahahah.
And and our tutor was soo funny. "Eh you want the center's Amaths, Bio and Physics stuff?" Which we all chorused "YES PLEASE!" And then she went "Okay I go find" I mean. Seriously! Where can you get such a funky teacher! And she's always joking with us, and of course most importantly, she salvaged my f9 chemistry grades and changed it to A1! Not to mention, she made it my favourite science subject (:
Tuesday.
Emath - Was surprisingly easy. I actually did EVERY SINGLE QUESTION haha so proud of myself (:
Physics - NABEH LA WALAU STUDY SO HARD THEN PRESSURE DIDN'T EVEN COME OUT. But at least I completed more than half my paper! So I was quite happy haha.
Stayed back with Cheryl to do Amath and Chem and then we were listening to each other's iPods and moaning about life and I asked her Amath and she asked me Chem so I guess we complement each other (: Then we gave up on our respective struggling subject and went home haha.
Wednesday
Chem - Was quite easy, just that my full mark aim is totally impossible when I made the stupidest mistake of my life. Argh.
Amath - I expected not to be able to do any question so when I did the first question, my face was all smiles haha. I left half my paper blank, and I can safely bet half of my written answers are wrong (so in the end I'll only get 25%) but it'll exceed my 0% expectation, so I guess it wasn't that bad HAHA.
Crammed Bio and tried to remember Wen Han's "Words of Wisdom" and looking through
i) my textbook
ii) Isaac's textbook
iii) Miss Lau's Notes
iv) My notes
v) Isaac's notes
So you can imagine how long I took just to finish ONE chapter.
Thursday
English - Wrote and wrote and wrote like crazy. But I quite like my essay, I just hope I didn't write out of point haha.
Bio - Trying to memorise the human anatomy, where your carbon dioxide goes, effects of adrenalin, what happens when you have kidney failure, and the paper was so difficult. I think I literally GUESSED more than HALF my MCQ. I know I have a tendency to exaggerate sometimes, but I'm really not this time. It was so crazy difficult. But then the rest of the paper was quite easy. Or maybe I was so tired my brain was no longer functioning but I didn't care anymore. I just wanted to get over and done with it, and sleep. But then of course it wasn't remotely possible and I was scribbling to the last second. The only highlight was that I spotted a mistake in the bio paper! :)
Went home, and almost didn't bother about SS-H. I slept so much, played with my sister (both gaying around and playing duets on the piano) and snacking and finally starting work at 930. Haha! Then went to talk on the phone and it's been so long since I had a conference call.
Friday/Today
Bad choice to hang up so late because I couldn't function omg seriously. Haha. Got a surprise sms from ____! So that was quite nice aha but that was the only nice part of the early morning. Yuxi came into class and went "EH I STUDIED ERP YOU KNOW! SURE COME OUT!" And then everyone was laughing and her weirdness and she's so funny but I guess she had the last laugh when all of us studied globalisation and it didn't come out AND THE STUPID ERP THING CAME OUT. Haha I couldn't stop laughing to myself when I saw that haha!
History was not that bad. Couldn't really be bothered though.
Anyway. Today's the last day of exams, and instead of celebrating like any normal person would, I had to rush home for piano lesson. And I was so exhausted, I fell asleep when I got home, so my piano teacher took pity on me and let me play hymns and practice my sight reading instead of making me play Mozart, Bach and Chopin heee :D
But then the sad thing was he said I sucked. Haha! Not really "Omg Priscilla you suck" but "You've gotta practice your sight reading! Terrible! Go play more hymns and stop listening to Avril Lavigne!" But of course he doesn't know I don't listen to Avril, but I just keep quiet haha.
And I felt like a loser. Because when I went online, only 4 people from MG were online. The rest of the population was probably in town/vivo/holland having the time of their lives while I had to come back for piano heh.
Then I go sort out my music and it's so addictive. :) It's rather tiring actually, but I'd rather do this than crop photos like _____ HAHAHAHAH.
