I think today was the best day I’ve ever had in a long while.

Went to gym in the morning while Cheryl was having her lit paper, then tried to do a bit of work. Had some nice time with her on the bus and when we reached her house, guess who was waiting for her. April!!! :D We ate lunch and watched ‘Dear John’ and I ate the most and Cheryl and I cried at some points and the ending sucked. Then we started photoboothing that was so fun. We took pictures of Cheryl’s legs!! I hope she doesn’t see this. Then we took pictures of our biceps (HAHAHAHAHA) that was so funny. Mirror image effects ftw!! And then April and I camwhored some more while Cheryl was on the phone with her aunt. It was so funny, so fun. I never genuinely laughed so hard for such a long while. True, someone was on the mind the whole time. But when I was at Cheryl’s place, it was as though it didn’t matter. That even if my problems weren’t solved, my questions weren’t answered…with them, things wouldn’t be so bad after all.

Then I took a bus to the mrt to go home. And OMG I LEFT MY PHONE ON THE BUS. I was on the way to the station then I wanted to check my phone but I felt my pocket and omg there was no phone!!!! I panicked like crazy and ran up but of course there was no bus, so I had to scout for an approachable person to borrow then phone. And this adventure really showed two sides of Singaporeans.

The first person I approached was so apprehensive. She acted like I was going to snatch her phone and run. Which is stupid because
1. I was holding two files and obviously she would out run me.
2. I was in uniform. No way would I do such a thing in uniform. I wouldn’t do it even if I were in outside clothes.
3. She had an iPhone. I’m sorry but I’m not interested.
So before lending me her phone, she was like “there are no public phones around here?” Screw yourself lah by the time I find a public phone maybe my phone would’ve gotten stolen. And she didn’t really want to hand me the phone in the first place. She had to talk to the person on the other line. Until she realised how stupid she was because she obviously didn’t know what to say.

So anyway I had to meet the bus driver who picked up my phone. But me being me, I got lost so I had to find another person to call my number again. This time, it was a really nice person. I told her I lost my phone and instead of “so what do you want me to do about it” (like the first person), she went “oh dear….sure you can use my phone” ANDDDD when she found out I didn’t know how to go to wherever place, she volunteered to walk with me all the way, and only left when she saw my phone with the person, and made sure that I was safe.

SEE THIS IS THE TYPE OF SINGAPOREAN EVERYONE SHOULD BE ASPIRE TO BE. Who cares if you have iPhone but your character is 100x uglier than your phone.

In the end I got back my phone after much panic. I’m just to grateful to God for not letting my phone fall in the wrong hands.

I shall continue with why today is the perfect SS day. So anyway I got gissy to call me on the phone, and we had a niceee talk. Meeting her for breakfast soon! We can catch up, eat bread and drink tea…and just be who we are. No need for masks or pretences. I can be honest with her.

And then at night, Nic Wigz texted me. Such a surprsie!! It really made my day.
This is why I love these girls. Three years and counting of being the best clique ever, I love you guys!!
