China Part III

Mood: Tired :O
Music: Ivoryline - Be Still and Breathe

Okay before I totally forget everything and have no mood, I must start blogging about the rest of my China trip. So, here goes(:

Day 5, Suzhou
Okay so we woke up bright and early to eat breakfast, and...GO TO SCHOOL! Haha stupid Grace's hair looked like a nightmare. Tsk tsk. And the bus was so far away from the hotel. We almost died crossing the road :( And much to our sadness, the primary girls were following us :( :(

When we got to school, there was no one to welcome us, so we just stoned around and, well, stoned around. We were all so tired!

Then we had this very fantastic idea to stack ourselves!

Bad idea. Because after a while we all found something (nothing actually) so funny and started laughing. And thus the chain effect of vibrating bodies will cause everyone to fall to the floor :(

But it was fun while it lasted :D

Then we had some tour of the school, and walked into classes. And omg the children there are soooo cute!!

Aha! Then after swooning over them, we went for lessons with the Grade9 people (sec3) and they did literature! In Chinese of course. Which was really scary because we didn't even understand a single thing they said. But it was quite funny haha.

Following which, we went up for some boring boring thing. And the whole school day was pretty much like that. Everywhere we go there'll be shouts of "Eh! Xin Jia Po Ren!" which translates to "Eh look! Singaporean!" I mean like. DUH. Haha.

SHOPPING! SHOPPING! SHOPPING! (at guanqian street)

Omg it was SOOO FUN! We all went to this funny shop thingy and we all bough bags! And we cleared like the whole stock of mickey mouse bags :D :D and bought some other stuff and the poor guy ran out of change HEHE :D

After that we finally decided to step foot into Disney shop, but then everything was wayy to costly. And rather obviously, no one was willing to fork out money anyway HAHA. Then we saw this offer in this shop for jeans, with like "Buy 1 get 1 FREE" and we were like "omg omg cool!" but the moment we saw the back pocket stitch, everyone of us went "omg not cool" ahahaha.

Then we bought vcds and dvds hoho and I bought The Simpsons Movie! :D
Later, we got hungry so we went to KFC and bought the Mango Tart. And it is SO GOOD. My goodness it is awesome! Why doesn't Singapore have it huh :(

Then dinner dinner dinnerrrrrr. If I'm not wrong, we finished everything on the dinner plate again :D

And this was the worst part of the day. We went to some master of nets garden with cultural show. Wah biang it was SO BORING. It was some place with lots of rooms again. And we went to a lot of rooms and the primary girls got so excited while all the secondary girls were like "Shit when is this going to end" aha it was boring boring boring. I almost fell asleep. Rahh.

Oh well. At least we had a free pen. =/.

Day 6, Suzhou and Shanghai
Hoorah! We actually made is thus far :)
So, the day began with us traveling to school again. But this time the Grade9-ers had their exams. So...no more fun classes :( And instead we had to sit with the Grade 5 people. Oh man I felt like a giant. The chairs were so puny, and my legs were too long they couldn't fit under the table. Well, with much difficulty they could. And then the whole class stood up, Nic had no problems, while I almost knocked down the whole table :(
See, that's what long legs does to you :D JUST KIDDING. My legs aren't long at all.
And we had Chinese lit again. Damn why couldn't I have English?! Boo.

After school we went for some totally useless walk around Suzhou which seriously wasn't very mesmerizing at all. Then suddenly the dinnertablegang ended up walking together. And out came some major ________ session AHA! Walked back and all of us fell asleep with our iPods and the works plugged into our ears.

SHANGHAI!

We went into this hotel for pee break and I ended up buying more food ehe :D Then we went to this bookshop with seven floors haha and I ended up shopping with Nic, and found Seeyue and Grace along the way. So we all went up to the top floor where they stocked English books and I couldn't decided which book to buy. Neither could Grace, so she ended up buying everything heh. While I kept going,"Nic! Which one should I buy!" Haha. Then we got so excited with our buys we all wanted to sit down and read. But Seeyue got seriously carried away with wanting to buy a ZuoWen book that she would never ever read so we had to keep moving around. Then Nic and Seeyue and Grace all ended up buying the same Chinese book that apparently looked really nice and romantic. Seesh.

So we all sat down at the second level and Tiffany Lipin and Jas found us! So we all sat down until my alarm rang and we all went down. And off to dinner we went!

WE DRAGGED LAOSHI TO SIT WITH US :D So fun hehe. And we seriously wiped out everything on the table. Every dish. Even the rice, and soup. Except chili. Which of course no one will want to eat?! Haha as if that was not enough, we couldn't get enough of the food we ended up invading the primary table (since they only touch like 1% of their food) and the other secondary school table hehe

After dinner we went for some cruise along the Huang Pu Jiang River. And we (Tiffany Grace Nic Seeyue Me) couldn't decide on a place to sit and we finally went to the front and Nic had her Titanic moment and we started going high and singing songs. And Seeyue laughed so hard so fell down and grabbed my LEG which obviously surprised me like nuts. And I screameddddd which led Tiffany and Grace to look at me in all wonder. Omg I thought it was a rat okay :(

Then we had some 3s "class politics" which lasted all the way from the cruise to the bus. Oh man it was so nuts and fun. And we had to continue and Seeyue's room. BUT BUT Amelia (the one who was supposed to tell her 'tale') didn't come! What a failure. We ended up eating bread HAHAHAHA. It was sooo nice haha. Aye then us tired souls went to sleep.

OKAY Tiffany hasn't added any more things to her blog so I have no one to lift from. And until now Lipin still hasn't given me her password. So I'll blog another day! (as long as Tiffany updates hehe)

Short Update

Mood: Full :I
Music: Jack's Mannequin - Bruised

Hmm okay on Sunday the handbell 0506 choir came over for REUNION II! Haha and it was so funny!
We were eating dinner, then suddenly made this decision to watch Enchanted.
So after rushing our dinner, we walked from my house to the MRT, which took a little longer than expected. Which led to a very angry Monica saying, "Priscilla what kind of short cut is this?! It's not even short, and it's not even a cut!"

Oh well. What can I say. :(
And we packed all our leftover dinner into the theatre :D
During this scene, where Robert (Patrick Dempsey) is supposed to "perform" True Love's First Kiss, he started stroking her hair when the clock was already gonna finish striking twelve!
Which led to a very agitated first row (since we sat in two rows) suddenly shouting "KISS!" HAHAHHA.

After the movie, we all went to pee! And Sandra saw a very funny sign in the cubicle that read
"Please take care of your own belongings, or thieves from neighbouring cubicles might steal them"
OKAY..... =/ How odd. Then we took ages to take a group photo because we couldn't decide on which passerby to ask to help us take a photo. HAHA!

Overall, it was awesome!! :D:D

On a totally different note, PETER PETRELLI'S MY HERO! <3

Reunion! <3

Mood: H-a-p-p-y and full :) :I
Music: Taking Back Sunday - Cute Without the 'E'

OMG I LOVE THE TAKING BACK SUNDAY'S LEAD VOCALS! So damn sexy:)

Anyway!!!! Today was reunion! Omg it's such a pity Jasmine sprained her ankle and couldn't come :( :( :( So after my awfully painful jab which I almost died :( I went to meet Luwin in such a turn left turn right style. Running all over the place :( and passed him Twilight. Gosh I hope he likes it. Because I LOVE IT :D

Met Grace, Tiffany, Lipin and Nic at the Taka fountain, which turned out to be a bad choice because we all started melting in our green outfits so we decided to sit under a tree and people-watch. Then there was this woman walking barefooted so our conversation went something like
Lipin: Hey look that woman's walking barefooted!
(me, being blind as usual): No la! She's wearing pink shoes!
Nicole: Yeah!
Me: Omg she is walking barefooted!
haha it was so funny! And then halfway it started drizzling, and we were stuck under this stupid tree and we decided to walk inside Taka and the rain got heavier! and we got a bit drenched. So much for strutting in glamorously heh. And we waited damn long for Wong Seeyue who hopped onto 174 when we specifically gave her orders NOT TO.
"Seeyue! Hop off the bus and take a cab. We'll pay"
"Don't want! I've been sitting on the bus for damn long"
Which was precisely the point right? So she would save time. :S And Nic started standing under a light to 'gain enlightenment' haha! And Seeyue finally came :) And we went Seoul Garden! And took AGES to decide on our stock, and when we finally decided, was not happy with our given tables and requested to change haha!

And when we went to take food, Nic got damn freaked out for some undisclosed reason :) And it was just pure chaos and fun! :D Seeyue was being slow as usual, and we ended up eating for three hours :) playing watermelon and papaya games :)

Following which, we went to Cine, then Heeren, then Starbucks (eat again haha) and home.
And I trained back with Grace! Haha it was funny.

CAN'T WAIT FOR THE NEXT REUNION! AND JASMINE BETTER JOIN US! :)

China Part II

Mood: Bahh :(
Music: Splender - I Think God Can Explain

When Blogger screws up on you and deletes your post that you spent an hour doing, you
1) Throw a fit and refuse to do anything about it
2) Painstakingly type everything out

In my case, first, I throw a fit. Then I leave many days in between to cool down, and then painstakingly type everything out (again). Sigh.

So, let's begin before I change my mind.

Day 3, Suzhou
First we took a not-so-long bus ride to Suzhou, and we met our tour guide. Who was in a DESPERATE need of a TOTAL makeover.
And he started to teach us how to speak the Suzhou dialect.
And the worst part, he didn't know how to SHUT UP!

"Neh hah!" (With the exclamation) Which means "Ni Hao" in Chinese which is a greeting in English.
And
Well I can't remember because I wasn't paying attention. Haha.
I think the only person paying attention was LaoShi. Sadly. Oh and Jasmine. Haha!

Then following which, we went to Tiger Hill which was supposedly China's version of the Leaning Tower of Pisa. But apparently it tilts more than the leaning tower. Hmm wonder why it's less popular then. :S Then we had some time- okay, A LOT of time to take photos. But because my camera went flat, and I wasn't in a mood to take photos because I was rather turned off by our very fantastic tour guide (sarcasm intended), Nicole and I rushed to sit on those Old Man chairs (private joke) and ate and AND OMG THIS IS THE FUN PART!

Suddenly some Eropean people came up to us and ask "Do you know a [something something I can't remember]?"
And all of us were like "huh?!"
And he was like "Something something kitchen"
And I was like "huh?!"
And they were like "Never mind, it's just a silly joke"
And everyone was like "Ohh..." and I was like "huh?!"

Then the tour guide made us walk and walk and walk some more and we found those two people again! And Nic and I decided to call them Bo Zo. Haha!

Boarded the bus and headed for Han Shan Shi (temple) which was a total waste of time. Sorry no offense to anyone, but being a Christian, I don't really like a place that is one third filled with incense, one third filled with cigarette smoke, and one third filled with people. I'm fine with them individually, but when they all combine together, they make me a very unhappy girl. So Nic and I just sat around dazing and totally not listening to the tour guide, spotting flowers and laughing and Seeyue trying to take macro shots.
When we were given (yet again) lots of photo taking cum exploring time, Nicole Teo and I just sat around doing Sudoku while Seeyue attempted her macro shots (yet again) haha!

Finally we had something we like - DINNER!
And Seeyue claims the place makes people forget names. She forgot Lipin's and Jasmine's name!

"It's a name of a flower"
"Um...um... CHRYSANTHEMUM!"

Silly silly. And she couldn't remember Lipin's name. Poor thing. Then Nicole came up with this game called The Watermelon Game. Where you must finish your piece of watermelon before the turning thing on the table makes its way back to you. It's the best way to finish the plate of fruits. And we've been playing it every lunch and dinner ever since :)
And Lipin started pouring soup onto the bowl her finger! Amazing huh! And we were like asking for a glass of ice water. But the lady gave us a glass of water, without the ice. But because it's autumn, it was rather cold. Super funny.

After a very satisfying dinner, we went to Jinji Lake. Which was super cool. Definitely the best way to end the day. It was chilly because it was near the lake, and it was super cool because we could sit with whoever we want! And we (dinnertablegang - grace + joanne) bought the sugared san zha and had damn a lot of fun! And then suddenly there were this primary girls that stood in front of us. And our conversation went something like this:
"Shit! Shit! Shit!!"
"Don't swear it's really bad"
*stares at us like they've never seen anyone more beautiful than us*
(In our kindest tone possible) "Don't worry. We're from the secondary school. You can sit with us if you want to"
"Oh! There they are!" (Stands totally in our view, blocking us with their not-as-pretty faces)
(Annoyed now) "Okay okay you found your friends. Now get lost"

Okay I said the get lost part.
And then someone dropped a glass and the seven of us in total Singaporean fashion went "WHOOOAAAAAA" haha and so many people started staring at us! Making us wish we never Whoa-ed.
And then after waiting for a thousand years, there were FIREWORKS! And lights. And water fountain! So nice! And we all started screaming like crazy cos it was AWESOME.
And like natural reflexes, our cameras were whipped out and we started shooting pictures!

After a totally awesome night, we had a dinner party! Bad idea to hold it in Tiffany and Lipin's room. Miss Or and Laoshi came knocking on our doors. It was sad :( I shan't elaborate. Haha.

Day 4
It was a funny day. Not Haha-funny, but strange-funny. We went to this place called Mu Du Gu Zheng which was this totally weird place. It was some examination place. And we toured places (yet again) and finally we had this calligraphy competition! And Seeyue Nic Grace and I were sitting in the front place (BAD MOVE) and everyone started staring at us! And I think Grace was left handed. And so is Seeyue and I. So the people staring were like "Whoa...all write with left hand..." Haha. And the ink they gave us to write with was super smelly!
And Seeyue, having severe short term memory, forgot how to write her name. AHA!

After that, we went to Panmen City. It was quite fun. More touring and all. And this was the funny part.
Me: Hey Nic look! Moon island! Let's go take a picture!"
*takes picture and carry on walking*
Then we see a bigger island. And this is so funny.
Seeyue sees it and goes,"Whoa what's this. Sun island ah haha"
And true enough, it really was! And because it was big enough to fit seven people, what else can we do? The dinnertablegang went to take pictures! :D:D
And we walked around and I started to open Pocky and everyone started taunting Lipin because she had a sore throat and couldn't eat dry snacks :)
And another funny moment!
Nic: let's play a game!
Priscilla: (knowing it's gonna be bad) Okay...
Nic: we must find something purple. And the first person to spot it must point towards it and go "BANG!"
Priscilla: (turns around at Amelia who so happens to be wearing a purple jacket) "BANG."

haha! And we saw some magician performing some trick. Haha it's quite cool. But dumb at the same time haha.

Following which, we went to Suzhou No.1 Silk Factory. And the poor silk worms!
Question! What do they do with the silk worms after the silk has been extracted?
Answer: They eat it. Because it's nutritious
And the primary girls were like "ew!" and the lady was like "it's good! it's very good for your complexion" and proceeds to pop one in her mouth. Just like that. RAW. And she went "who wants it?" And because they heard it was good for their skin, they were grabbing to eat it. Gross AND desperate. And Seeyue and I wanted to buy a bolster. HAHA! And it got so boring, we ended up sitting at a corner and just doing nothing.

At night wasn't much of anything because we had to rest early because we were going to SCHOOL the next day(:

Okay I'm tired. I will continue another day. :)

I'm sad.

Mood: Sad
Music: Dashboard Confessional - Rapid Hope Loss

AHH DAMN SHIT I JUST BLOGGED A WHOLE SHITLOAD ABOUT CHINA AND THEN BLOGGER DECIDED TO CRASH ON ME.
I'M SAD AND PISSED AND FREAKING ANNOYED.
AND I'VE GOT PIANO SOON.
HOW IN THE WORLD AM I SUPPOSED TO BLOG EVERYTHING AGAIN!
AND WE ALL KNOW THE FIRST TIME YOU TRY, YOU PUT IN THE MOST EFFORT.
DAMN SHIT. I'M HELLA ANGRY. :(

On a lighter side,

Your Love Style is Agape

You are a caring, kind, and selfless partner.

Unsurprisingly, your love style is the most rare.

You are willing to sacrfice your world for your sweetie.

Except it doesn't really feel like sacrifice to you.

For you, nothing feels better than giving to the one you love.

What's Your Love Style?

Haha I feel so unique. On a sadder side,

You Are A Relationship Doormat!

Surprise, you ruin relationships. Bet you didn't see that one coming :-)

While you're a nice, understanding, and caring girlfriend - you don't put your needs first.

And deep down, it's probably because you worry about getting dumped.

So speak up for yourself, weed out the losers sooner, and you'll find a guy that *deserves* you.

Do You Ruin Relationships With Men?

This is so very sad. HAHAHHA. Anyway I don't believe in love anymore. Not eros. So I don't really have much to worry about anyway. Haha!

And on a funny side,

You Are Ned Flanders

A good neighbor and a devout Christian, you are a community leader.

And you are called to make the world a better place, especially for left handed people.

You will be remembered for: your goofy expressions - "hi-dilly, ho-dilly!"

Your life philosophy: "I've done everything the Bible says - even the stuff that contradicts the other stuff!"

The Simpsons Personality Test

WOOHOO LEFT HANDERS! And I'm left-handed! Haha then again, I still think BlogThings are only like 1% accurate. Because we only see what we wanna believe, and we're also psyched to thinking that these things are correct. Haha. If it were, gurus would be bankrupt now.

I'm sad about my China post. Luckily I only blogged about one day. BUT STILL. AHHH DAMN SHIT :(
haha. But I'm still angry. Very. >=(

China!

Mood: Happy :)
Music: Hillsong - Fire Fall Down

Anyway I really should start blogging about my China trip before I forget everything and I DIE when I have to do a writeup about the whole thing :(

WARNING: Photo and words overload. Proceed only if dying to know what happened.

Day 1

After waking up at 4am to trip down to the airport, I went into my mummy's car. I can't believe I was messaging Nic and Seeyue in the car when I was gonna see them in less than an hour's time. Omg packing for this trip was a nightmare. I kept missing out things, and couldn't pack them in, so in the end I took another bag and dumped everything in haha :) Took a picture with mummy and gor gor to remind me of them and prevent myself from getting homesick (haha like I will anyway)

Oh man the whole airplane ride was super chaotic and funny! (Actually most things in the trip were, as you can tell.) While waiting to board the plane, Seeyue spotted Stefanie Sun! And the best part, she was taking the same flight as us! (First class, of course) Nic being excited, ran up to get her autograph haha!

In the plane, Seeyue was sitting on my left, while Nic was on my right. And while they were swooning over HSM2, (okay not really swooning, but transfixed), they had to put up with my constant though random outbursts of laughter when I was watching The Simpson's Movie. Haha. SPIDERPIG!

And when Seeyue was walking to the lavatory, she knocked over Nic's (plastic) glass of water, and the cup holder got kocked out of its place, while the water flew and landed on Nic's jeans haha :D The poor air stewardess walking by with one full tray of water had to:
1) stop
2) Squat down
3) Balance the tray on her thighs
4) attempt to fix the cup holder

Trust me, it was damn chaotic.
Luckily not much happened after that because we decided to sleep lest we cause more trouble.

After landing, we had a surprise KFC lunch and as Grace correctly describes it, "我们睡了又睡, 睡了又睡" haha that was super funny.

And while travelling from Shanghai to Hangzhou, Nic and I spotted a van that had a one-way mirror which was thoroughly amusing to us and hence we decided to take a picture. (of course the only thing we could see was our reflection, but that was kinda the point anyway haha) and Nic fantastically decided to put FLASH on her camera. Which resulted in the window being wound down 1 minute later and peering curiuosly at us. How embarassing!

How bored can we get :(

Dinner was at this funny restaurant and the people at our table became known as the dinner table gang(: Wanna know what we had? For soup, it was tomato plus water plus whatever. Or as Lipin calls it "PERIOD" =/

BEDTIME! It was pretty early, because we didn't have anything planned on the first day. Just checking in and camwhoring with Nic and eating instant noodles and...JOURNAL :(

Not bad a hotel eh? :)

Day 2
Okay I can't really remember much. Thus I'm gonna lift a lot of stuff from Tiffany(:
So apparently we went to West Lake, which was quite funny because everywhere the tour guide pointed to, made no difference to us because you look left, look right, you also see
1) mountains
2) water
3) trees
4) bridges

AND NIC AND I SAW A HANDSOME ANG MOH GUY AND WE NAMED HIM JACK! :)
But we never saw anymore of him throughout the whole trip :(

And my favourite photo of West Lake...

Then we went to this place called Longjin Tea Plantation where they teach you how to sip tea and make tea and look at tea. Okay kidding about the 'look at' part. Everyone was just so excited to attempt macro shots.

Nicole wanted to read my tea leaves haha. Like that woman in Harry Potter. Can't spell her name though. Haha.

Here are my macro shots! :D

Not bad eh? :D

Haha I like this

And lunch was the best! We ate so much food! Apparently lots of high officials go there to eat, that's why the food was so nice. And I almost pushed Seeyue into the pond :)

Okay and then after that we went to YueFei Miao. And there were tons of murals and all. But I'm too lazy to post them up. Not that you'd be interested anyway haha :) And there were tons of freeloaders! People (couples mostly) pretending to be looking at the murals but actually listening to xianranjiejie (our tour guide for the whole trip =D) talking. Haha. :)

Don't ask me what it means. I don't know either. Haha.

Don't ask me what this is. I don't know either. Haha!

YueFei's the man yo!

And with a little photoshop...

Priscilla Nicole and Seeyue appears! (kidding we just took another shot. DUH)

Fish thingys!

Some tomb thingy of YueFei heh.

Nicole and I. With the former trying to pull me off the horse. Haha.

Wanna know why Nicole was so happy? Because she was making fun of me. Terrible right!

After that we went to XiXi National Wetland Park which was a total bore for most of us because everywhere we went we saw wetlands and more wetlands. Seriously. And everyone was already so tired (plus hungry, since the dinnertablegang is always hungry) The only thing that rejuvenated us was the sunset!

Scary toilets

After zooming...

雨水! In translation, it means rain water hah.

Translation: wine.

Weird shaped leaves Seeyue fell in love with.

Stupid Grace. Haha!

And my favourite...

At dinner, Seeyue played with my camera and did this "artistic" shot.

And this is a conversation that Tiffany blogged:

dinner time was hilarious !! the soup had like this chunk of red meat in it. & someone had to come up with the horrible idea that it might dog meat -.- so jasmine (our chinese spokesperson since she speaks it super well) asked the waitress what it was. & the waitress replied

"shi ya zi" (duck meat)

& grace said

"scarly the dog is called ya zi"

HAHAHHAA oh mannnn. whatever it was, the soup was quite nice. okay we're very particular over the soup they serve us. haha. & for us dinner table gang our motto is "eat all you can & try to finish whatever is on the table" hahaha! but if we dont like it, we really leave it untouched hahahaa.

SOOOOOOONG CHENG!
We bought the BingTangHuLu (or those fruits dipped in syrup and left to harden) and there were these guards who were really guarding nothing at all haha. Then we saw this monkey and mountain goat performance and it was so poor thing because the mountain goat was made to perform :(
And we talked a lot of crap (as usual) and it was just plain hilarious.
Then we went for this concert and it was hella good! And we thought our Sentosa musical fountain was good.

Then after that we went to our hotel to PACK. But then Nicole and I are always packing in our free time (don't ask us why) so it made no difference. And as Tiffany calls me, "The luggage packer" because I can miraculously pack everything into a given space :)

Okay I am DYING blogging about China. I'll stop here. I've spent about two hours uploading and renaming and blogging and typing and coding stuff. That a lot of work. I'll blog the rest another day. I promise!
