2007

Mood: Thoughtful :)
Music: Embrace - Can't Come Down (OMG THIS SONG IS SO SO SO GOOD)

Okay the year is drawing to a close now...and thinking back, I'm glad the year is coming to a close, but I'm also apprehensive about what next year will bring. I mean, yes I'm thankful that the new year is coming, and I can start my life afresh and all. But yet it's going to be the O levels, and frankly I don't know how I'm going to sit for my most major exam (but as Homer will put it,"Your must major exam so far" haha) in this pathetic state heh. And everyone knows it can't possible to not be stressful when it's your O level year hurhur. And because they always ask you reflect and evaluate in order to improve, I will do just that, on different aspects of my life. So if you're interested (because you're stalker/busybody who has nothing better to do or you're truly my friend and want to know how I've been doing/you want to pray for me etc) then carry on. If not, you can always click the red 'X' button.

[Academic aspect]
By far my worst performance in my entire schooling life, I almost killed myself by doing so atrociously and becoming this close *pinches fingers to leave a 1mm gap) to getting retained. Okay it wasn't that bad, but definitely way worse than my own expectations. Then again I did so badly the whole year I wasn't expecting much for my EYOS heh.
And I know that if I really committed myself to my studies, I would've done much better than that. But the thing is, am I willing? That's what I keep asking myself. Am I willing to give up making friends, give up blogging consistently, give up late night phone chats? I honestly don't know :( BUT because my entire future is at stake, I have no choice :(

So academically, definitely a failure and I hope I do better next year because honestly, and no offense seriously, I don't want to end up in JJ or some crap JC or some crap rubbish dump poly course - which is exactly what I'll be doing with my mediocre grades :(

[Spiritual aspect]
So, I haven't been attending the last two SU camps and I don't feel sorry at all. And selfishly speaking, I don't think it has affected my spiritual life and I don't think I'll attend anymore. I mean like..okay you go, you get a spiritual high, you make new friends. But how long does that high last? See? It doesn't last long.

I did my QT more consistently than last year, though the duration isn't really much to be proud of haha. Though now I try to make it an effort to record down verses that strike me into my phone so I will read them and I can encourage people :)
I drifted away from God for a while, but came back after some guidance so yeah, I'm really grateful for that. AMEN!

I mean it's not like I won't/don't believe God is the creator and Savior and He's the real God and all, it's just how much does He mean to US? We say we believe Him, but do we LOVE him? Do we honour him in our actions, thoughts, words? Would we rather revel in things of the world, and spend time with people and friends, than to spend time with Him in a room, or in a church, getting to know Him? And that's what I find so hard :(

We say He's THE saviour, but is He our savior? If we say so, then why do we find it so hard to be eternally grateful to our Saviour? And everyone knows being sincerely eternally grateful is really doing whatever your Saviour asks you to do and not doing whatever He asks you not to do.

And in this way, I fall short of the Glory of God. I say I love Him, but do I really love Him most? If I do then why can't I honour Him in my ways. I can't even say 'to God be the Glory' because I have nothing to boast about. I hardly even pray nowadays. And when I do, it's because I want something. And I hate myself for that. And the worst part? I don't know how to stop. And maybe I'll only be satisfied once my life is sufficiently screwed up and I end up killing myself.

[Physical aspect]
I've grown a little taller, grown ad little fitter - I finally got my perfect score for Physical Fitness Test! :D and maintained my weight, although I'm sure to have put on weight during this holiday season sigh. I've chopped off my hair (I've never had short hair since P6 haha) and regret it now. Other than that, pretty much the same Priscilla you see.

[Emotional aspect]
Okay I don't know if I'm more or less emo than last year, but I think I cried a lot more this year than last :( And I'm sorry to all my friends who have seen me in such a pathetic state- suddenly crying in front of them when they say something, calling them up in tears because I needed them so badly, seeing me be so quiet all of a sudden, losing weight and falling sick and I didn't know how to stop, until even my form teacher asked me if I was alright. Goodness.
Sorry for losing my cool, shouting at you guys, losing my faith and falling from grace until I wanted to kill myself etc, I'm so sorry you had to see me like that and feel so helpless, but I'm so thankful you guys never gave up on me. *Hugss*
Now I don't cry so easily anymore because I know nothing will ever come close to what I've been through. So it's a bittersweet lesson heh.
I don't keep a diary anymore because I don't want to remember what I do, and that's why I guess blogging is in a way, my diary now heh.

[Social aspect]
I've probably made less friends than I did last year (I thinkkk) okay I think more, but less than 2-3 years ago. But it doesn't really matter does it? It's how many friends you've manged to keep, and to how many people have you been a friend to :)

School
I've actually stuck to a group of friends for the WHOLE year. SO hoorah to me because believe me, I don't think I've actually done that haha. Like recess group-wise haha.
To APRIL, CHERYL SEAH, GISELLE, NICOLE HENG, I love you guys so much! Thank you for keeping my company in and out of school, for keeping my deepest not-so-darkest secrets and for catching me when I fall. To my classmates in 3E I never thought I'd love this class so much.
Seeyue is still my best friend and I'm so so so so thankful for that. Even though we're not as close, she knows me inside out and when we see each other we just click, not that we have to make up for lost time, but as if we were never out of touch in the first place.
I've also made new friends like my DINNERTABLEGANG hoho China was so damn damn fun. And also a much needed break heh.

Church
After being appointed evangelism head, I've had the opportunity to work with the YF comm and got to know Jiayi, Isaac Ee and Isaac Liu and Joel Tang better and Sunday School was mixed. (sec3&4, boys and girls) so that was quite funny and I got to know Amelia and Daniel much better this year haha. As for Angelalalala, I already know her inside out ;)

Outside these two
I've made new friends, lost old friends, kept some, and it's weird how closely connected we all are. So this year I got acquainted with Daniel Tan Susheelan (is that really your name?!), Andrew Fok, Gavin, Vanzeeeno Lee, Twinkle, Valerie, Stephenie and that's about it. Haha that's pathetic. I've come to a point where sometimes I want more friends but I realise I don't really need more friends because I have enough. After all, you can't pour your secrets to 25 friends right? If a new friend comes along, that's good. If not, I'll try not to let it bother me.

To Gerald and Ziteng: Please call me next time instead of always asking me to call you because I'll be so busy studying! (I hope) and I don't wanna lose touch with all of you guys! I miss those conference calls with you guys and Monica :(
To Ryan: DOH! I don't talk to you as much as I used to and it's quite sad. BUT I hope we don't lose touch okay!
To Luke: Please stop asking me to buy you CDs/caps because I'm not made of money and you're richer than me by the way
To Twin: Thank you so much for all you've done! LOVEEEEEEE YOUUU!!

AND AND AND this year I finally saw Swong after not meeting up for like THREE YEARS. Haha.

On a sad note, I'm quite sad I lost touch with a few people, name Asriel and I kinda miss him heh. I miss the times when we were such good friends and could talk about anything and everything. I'm sorry I let this whole friendship thing go to waste, I really am. If you see this, could you please contact me (call/sms/msn/email whatever). I want to talk to you again. I want you to be my friend (not just an acquaintance) again. I want to laugh with you again and mostly, I want to keep my promise of being friends forever. I can't look for you because I'm too ashamed to talk to you. I wasn't a very good friend and you probably deserve better friends than me. But I"m selfish. I want an uncle I can talk to, that will listen to all my rubbish. I miss having you as a friend, but I'm not sure if you feel the same way. Forgive me, for being such a horrible friend. And I hope you're willing to give this friendship thing another go. But if you don't, I fully understand why, and I won't blame you. I've thought about it and I realise that I don't want to lose a friend like you. I sound so lame, but please be my friend again.

I don't think I'm gonna have much of a social life next year. Screw O levels man.

[Relationship aspect]
I've grown closer to my family so that's a good thing, although my brother can still very much be a pain in the ass and my mum can be really PMSy urgh. But at the end of the day I love my siblings because I know we've got each other's backs. And this year I learnt that we can choose our friends and change them, but we can't choose of change our family, so we might as well make the best of out it.

As for bgrs, I'll just be honest and say, yes I've had one this year. It didn't end particularly well, though I'd rather it didn't end, but given things the way they are, I don't blame you for anything, and I don't regret anything. I just wish loving you was enough. That said, I wish you all the best in life, may you find the girl that you will truly love for the rest of your life.. Thank you for those moments we've had, thank you for giving me the time of my life and an experience I'll never forget. And thank you, for letting me be a part of your life.

[Musical aspect]
So this year I failed my piano exam (oh well) and gave up guitar.
Handbells
I probably made history by being the only vice chairman not promoted to chair (except Monica haha). BUT. I don't really regret. I mean ringing wise, I may be the best (haha yes I'm shameless but it's the only thing I'm good at haha so be nice to be and don't judge me) and it was always my dream of becoming president, becoming like my sister. But hardly anyone has a dream come true right? (Katie Holmes is rubbish, I swear) and I know I'll never be as dedicated/committed to handbells as Tiffany is, and her enthusiasm just makes her shine so much more than me. (see? I told you not to judge me) and I sincerely believe that even thoug hte post could be mine, you, and the whole choir, myself included, would benefit more and me better off having you as our lovely chairman. And you made history too! But being the only chairman without having and committee position haha :) No hard feelings, and I wish you all the best! :)

That aside, HANDBELLS GOT A FREAKING GOLD FOR SYF! That THAT! All you skeptics- whoops, that's me haha. And 0607 choir was definitely a choir I'll miss. Then again, 0708 will be pretty much the same.

radio
Since p4, I don't think I've ever listened to so little radio in a year. And I don't regret. Because radio's overrated and the best music is hardly ever found on radio. Singapore radio, that is. And to all those shallow people who only listen to radio and won't like a song unless it gets radio airplay, widen your views a little please. Yes, radio's nice, but why settle for 'nice' when you can have 'nicer'? Go find some bands and listen to them, and when you find someone else who listens to the same unique band as you, the feeling of elation is beyond words :)

CDs
I've bought more CDs this year I think.
1. Hanakimi (but that's a birthday gift)
2. Last Winter (my dad paid haha)
3. COPELAND
4. Dashboard Confessional (But that's a gift too)
5. Jack's Mannequin (but that's a gift for a friend bahh I still paid alright!)
6. Rachael Yamagata (IT'S AUTOGRAPHED!)
7. Lost Prophets (But that's a gift too hahaha)
8. New Found Glory (it's quite dumb cos I borrowed Nate's and like the lyric booklet so I bought one anyway haha)

That's about it I think. Okay that's rather little. I've burnt some but ended up giving them away sigh, borrowed and ripped a few from Nathan [Acceptance, The Ataris, New Found Glory, Run Kid Run..I'm sure there's more but I can't remember], my brother's [Avril Lagivne, FOB, Corinne May] my sister's other weird weird stuff. And downloaded a lot OOPS. [All Time Low, Amber Pacific, Blue October, Plainsunset, dashboard Confessional, Daphne Loves Derby, The Perishers, The Postal Service, Rooster, 30 Seconds to Mars, Boys Like Girls, Making April, Secondhand Serenade] SAM'S BAND consisting [Paramore, Taking Back Sunday, The Academy Is...,Waking Ashland, Cute Is What We Aim For, Armor for sleep, The Early November, Anberlin, The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus and many many more] And all these are FULL albums, I'm not even talking about misc songs from other bands haha!

Found out more about the wonder of PureVolume and Lastfm and Multiply. So yes, this year has been a very good alternative music haul.

I'm pretty much about done with my evaluation thing, (whew!) and I had no time to write down my top 10s. But if I have time, I'll probably do a top 10 days of the year, photos of the year I guess. Events of the year haha.

Alright tuition calls (sigh), BYE! And have a fun-filled-Jesus-Centered New year! :)

Christmas!

Mood: Happy :)
Music: Just Surrender - Tell Me Everything

CHRISTMAS IS HERE! And Jesus is the reason for the season! :)

So on Christmas Eve, I went to tuition and we had some impromptu party and slacked for half the tuition class :D Then came home, shower, did piano and off to church I went!

Then it was dinner with Flabs, his friend Bobby, Lu, two peeps from China, my bro and I haha and service! And all the youths were dressed so formally! Angela was in a tube and I was in a dress and Ken was in a BLAZER! Woohoo! Haha after service I didn't want to go home so we all crashed Lenard's place but went to play pool at Beauty World on second thoughts.

And omg Ken's freaking good and I suck :( but after Lenard and Ken teaching me, I'm beginning to get the hang of it hoho. And my brother and I got quite pissed cos mummy wanted to go home instead of letting us stay at Lenard's house :( :(

BUT BUT BUT. There was a reason behind it! My sis got all tipsy and she blacked out the moment she got out of the car...AND vomitted. PLUS her breath totally stank grosssss. But she was drinking hardcore liquor man. 17% alcohol! That's even more than vodka goodness. =/.

ANYWAY. Remember what I said about wanting to read the whole Bible in 2008?
Bible in 2008
Join join join!
It'll be rewarding, I promise :) I need to go celebrate Christmas now BYEE!

Carolling!

Mood: Happy But Tireddd :O
Music: Just As I Am

Okay I just realised last year, I blogged about carolling too! Woooohooooo. Okay this year carolling was different, no more getting into groups and travelling house to house. Heh that was really really fun. Last year we went to this house and this woman didn't want us to sing but she though we were like busking. So she was like "You want money? Can, I give, just don't sing" and she kept insisting we not sing sigh :(

So this year is combined with the YA and we went house to house, and some RC block party which Lukeee actually came for! And he managed to drag his friend HAHA. Before that we went to Windemere Condo and it RAINED RAINED RAINED POURED POURED POURED. Haha we were singing halfway then it started raining and we thought we would be like those "Die-Die must sing" kind of carollers BUT just as we were going into the chorus of a song, ALL the guitarists just STOPPED and ran away into shelter, trying to save their guitars haha so funny.

Then we continued singing hoho so fun so fun. Then we just went around everywhere and Lenard became my portable pillow and finally, we went stopped at my house hoho it was so so so fun. Talking with Flabs, Lu, Jiahan, Jiayi, Sam, Debs and Nithe (occasionally when he's not playing the piano) and you should seriously try hearing Luwin speak Mandarin. It's HIRARIOUS I tell you.

"Yi1 ge4 (it's supposed to be yi zhi) zhu1, qu4 pao3...ma1-ra1-den1(marathon in Chinese pronunciation ahha!)"
"Ta1 pao3...ban4 way." (half way actually. in Chinese it's pao1 dao4 yi1 ban4)

Ahh gosh so funny so funny.

PICTURE TIME!

Jiayi, Joel, Priscilla

Daniel and David

Jeremiah, whose birthday happens to be TODAY. So..HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

RODNEY BAY! haha!

Nat and Amelia!

My biggest, friendliest giant(:

Twin! Sarah and Farah

And and Joel started camwhoring and posing in damnn ahlian shots, numbering 1-10 haha! And when Jiayi asked Jeremiah to see the photos, Jeremiah was like "Oh I've seen them take the shots. Live action, no editing." Haha!

Omg so gay right hahaha. Anyway. Today was my first time in my LIFE actually attempting to play soccer, with guys. And I have to tell you, I suck so bad I gave up after a while and became their drinks lady HAHA.
Rahh I'm so so so so tired. I haven't exercised in 1000 years and I feel like an ancient old lady :(

I Just Know That Sheeee Warms My Heart<3

Mood: Touched :D
Music: The Starting Line - This Ride

Woooohooo Twin just dedicated an entire post to me! Aww so sweeet thanks Twin I lovee you so much too! I love you for:

- Being there for me
- Listening to all my rantings in my mega super duper long emails (hehe!)
- Replying to all my mega super duper long emails
- Picking up my calls at unearthly hours
- Buying Sunflower hehe :D
- Accepting my music unlike most people heh
- Being EU!

Gahh okay not much have been happening in my life.

Monday, 17 - Tuition at night which was a total bore and yet I gained new insight into something other than Chemistry

Tuesday, 18 - Caroling at night haha then SUPPER! It was super funny! Flabs, Luwin, Joel, Jiayi who gave my brother and I a ride home, and of course, my brother and I. Oh man I realised I'm gonna miss supper after church at night :(

Wednesday, 19 - Dinner supposedly with Luke and Vanzino but then Luke cancelled on us last minute. So, boo him hmph. Ate at Yoshinoya and walked around and couldn't decide between Daphne Loves Derby, Embrace, Just Surrender or Copeland. But I settled for Copeland cos it was the cheapest =/

Thursday, 20 - Stayed at home most of the day. Went out with my parents to West Mall to hunt for new mattresses haha! Then while they were looking around I was also looking around (for different things of course) and bought a pair of shoes! :D :D and I wanted to buy skinnes but then my mummy said she would only buy either the shoes or skinnies and said I bought way to many pairs of jeans this holiday (only two okay! and they weren't even skinnies) and I needed new shoes. Oh well :(

Friday, 21 - Staying at home most of the time. SWWWOOONNG couldn't make it for dinner today rawr. Sucks man. So dinner at home, then caroling in church. I definitely hope there's gonna be supper this time haha! Even though it makes me fat, but the company is just so damn funny it makes putting on weight worth it :D

Tell me, am I not good enough for you?

I actually aimed to embark on this "A-Photo-A-Day" thing (I forgot the website) in 2007. But it's almost the end of 2007 AND I haven't even started. Haha I doubt I'll have time next year. So probably when I'm retired or something :S

OKAY TIME FOR COPELAND. bye!

Korea II

Mood: Alone :(
Music: All Time Low - Dear Maria Count Me In

Okay I'm using my sister's notebook again and I better blog about Korea before
1) I forget
2) I get too lazy
3) I get too busy and have no time to do it even if I want to

So it just so happens that I'm waiting for her to come back and we can watch Witch Yoo Hee together after her Man U Liverpool match. (which I predict will be 2-1 in favour of Man u WOOHOO! ) Okay while I sit here and moan in self-pity that I won't be able to watch the match, I shall use my time productively (okay this isn't really very productive, but still) and blog about my Korea trip.

Day 6, Busan/Incheon
We woke up really early just to go the this place called SpaValley. It's like some hotspring thing. Okay not really hot spring, but like those swimming places, with water from the Hot Spring. Heh. Then we went for the doctor fish thing where they fish nibble at your feet haha.

BUT, due to my immense phobia of animals, the moment a fish came to nibble at my feet my feet just ejected out of the water and I would scream haha. So after two failed attempts at bravery, I gave up and put on my shoes again haha.

After that, we went swimming! And I spent most of my time soaking in the hot water hehe. And then I went to the sauna and I almost fell asleep there and died. Kidding about the dying part. I didn't get to go to the real spa thingy, cos I really fell asleep for a few minutes until my sister heard my snoring lightly and thought it would be better if I woke up haha. Anyway the real spa thingy required you to be NAKED :S

Then we went to some tofu restaurant for lunch where they grow their own soy beans and make their own tofu! And their soup was really nice! They had shellfish and dunnowhat seafood which honestly was too small to be very tasty but since they say it's seafood and tasty and rare, I'll just be nice and say it is :)

Haha then I played with Qiqi! (the small little cute girl woohooo how can anyone be so cute and still be human?!)

Then we went SHOPPING WOOHOO SHOPPINGGGGG!!!!!!!!! Okay it sounds really stupid but I got lost in the shopping centre and had to ask the information counter on the way back to the store where my siblings were waiting for me. My parents didn't come along again, because we know we would all fight over what (not) to buy haha.

And we spent more than 50 buckaroos on cds and almost 100buckaroos on stationey. The notebooks there were just too cute! Then there was this couple who's quite funky actually. And they went to the same stationery shop, but they only bought a clock. And not 100bucks worth of paper. So the guy said," Thank goodness I'm over this 'this-is-so-cute' teenage phrase" oh great. HAHA.

So after spending a lot of money, we went back to the bus and guess what we did at night?
MORE SHOPPING SHOPPING SHOPPING WOOOOOOHOOOOOO!!!!!!!!
And I bought two tops! And argued with my siblings ah but whatever I SHOPPED! haha. And we bought skinny ties! I bought one for sammmmm! Haha and one for myself (it just looked cool. I don't seriously think I'll wear it. Okay great I just wasted money haha)

Day 7, Incheon/Seoul
It's the last official day of the whole trip. Today was lots and lots of....SHOPPING! Okay I sound a little insane. But seriously, which girl doesn't like SHOPPING? But this time it was like street shopping so it was kinda cool.

We didn't eat breakfast at the hotel today. Instead we went to some weird place that didn't serve good food at all so I ate very little. And the seaweed they served wasn't even nice! Hmph.

Then after that we went to some ginseng factory which I figured must be the one my chemistry tutor must have gone to because she bought $10 000 worth of ginseng my goodness haha. But everything was so expensive so my mum didn't buy.

Then we went to some cordyceps place and my mummy bought stuff there haha. Then the men were like "aye what's the point in buying all these man? Once you finish it, you're back to square one!" hahaha they way men see things is so funny.

Then we went to this amethyst place where they sold amethyst jewelery and the husbands were all huddled up in one corner gossiping so I went up to my dad and said "hey dad go buy something for mummy! See la you don't pay, now she has to buy for herself!" Then the guy beside my dad said "Yeah man where's the love!" and I told him "where's YOUR love?" Then they all laughed. Translation: I don't wanna waste money.

In the end, my dad took out his card and swiped away woohoo! So mummy bought a necklace, a ring and she bought a bracelet for my sister and I to share. Even though its shared, I think she'll wear it more often than I because I'm not one to wear necklaces and bracelets heh.

As if that wasn't enough to bore the men, we went to a cosmetic store haha it was so hilarious! The women were all listening intently to whatever the saleswoman had to say while all the men just looked around. AND THERE WERE PICTURES OF JOO JI HOON! WOOOHOOOO!

And there was this ginseng foam thingy that the guys used on their hands and scrubbed all the dirt out. Fascinating, until they found out they were using it the wrong way HAHAHAHAHAH!!!
So I just dumped stuff into my mum's shopping cart because we wanted to spend all our won haha. And I played with Qiqi!!

Then later we went to EVERLAND where they shot a scene from Stairway to Heaven! I went with the other kids from the tour group because I finally decided to make friends haha. Then we sat from something called Pharoh's Fury and it's quite boring. It's like a roller coaster, just with a storyline and moving 10 times slower. Except for the plunge we took in darkness, it wasn't very happening. Then we went for this roller coaster called the French Revolution and oh my gosh it is so cool. 270deg plunge and 540deg rotation! WOOHOO! Simply exhilarating :)
AND...my brother and I spotted eye candy!

Then we went for this haunted house thing but I didn't go because no space :( then we wanted to ride another roller coaster but the waiting time was one hour :( so no time :( so I ended up buying a hotdog bun and because it was so good, I bought another one :D

THEN they had a fantastic idea to go for the viking ship, just when I finished eating both. TSK.
But still. We went. And I sat opposite this DAMN GOOD LOOKING GUY! But he had a girlfriend omg :(
Then my brother backed out when we went for another round woohooooooo. And the first time we sat in the centre. This time, we sat right at the end! And the Korean girl beside me was like "are you from Korea?" and I said "no, singapore" HAHAH they got so excited! It was quite funny.

Then after that we checked into the Ritz Carlton hoho and walked out for dinner and we ate at some Japanese restaurant and walked around but couldn't find anywhere to shop at (darn. Seriously.) so we went to Starbucks again. :) And I bought Starbucks chocolate for my piano teacher and I had to queue specially for it okay. So it was pretty stupid when I went up to the counter and just paid for chocolates. The Korean men behind me were laughing at me okay! :(

Aye anyway we wanted to stay up late since we were waking up at four in the morning, but then after soaking in the bath, and reading Eclipse (for like the THIRD or was it 4th time in the whole trip) PLUS the beds in Ritz Carlton were SO NICE AND COMFORTABLE I couldn't help but drift off to lalaland :)

So that pretty much rounds up my trip to Korea. (okay not everything is accurate because I couldn't remember what we did on which day haha.)

OMG I'M DONE WOOHOO! Time to watch my Korean drama! :)

Korea

Mood: Lazy :D
Music: Sugarcult - Memory

Okay I shall be good and give an update on my Korea trip (if anyone is ever interested or worse still, if anyone is even coming to this space heh).

Okay so most of my stuff I actually wrote (fine I brought a notebook to pen down the stuff, like the journal we were forced to write in China but I got lazy so I just typed out everything on my phone) but I'll try editing along the way so that my horrible grammar/lack of vocabulary won't bore you out.

Day 1, Seoul/Incheon
Okay so technically it was supposed to be an eight-day kinda thingy, but, BUT, B.U.T., they are out there to cheat your money!!! They say it's eight days, but it's essentially six days. We land at the airport at around 1030, by the time you get to the hotel it's already midnight- obviously too late to do anything. And on the last day morning call's at 4am and our flight's at 830. In the morning. Obviously you can't do anything. Hmph. Try and cheat my money huh?! >:( And they keep switching hotels! Six hotels in seven nights! Keep packing and unpacking. Hmph. Haha.

So anyway we sat on Korean Airlines and the plane ride was neutral. Not boring, not highly entertaining either. Thank goodness I had Angela's Eclipse to keep me occupied. And the negative side, my sister's constant poking and jabbing hur hur.

Upon landing, we have to get our passports chopped and the lady that was in charge of my queue was SO ANNOYING!!!!! She was so slow, she might as well take over Mr Slow and go work in some steam roller company where everything is in slow-mo. Gosh.

And when we saw our group, there was hardly any eye candy :( Haha just kidding. And there weren't anyone near our (my siblings and I) age. They were all either older or younger. Sad. Those that were relatively near our age, speak CHINESE so it's obvious we can't communicate. After all, my mandarin doesn't sound anything like mandarin anyway. :(

The hotel we stayed at on the first night was so weird. Or maybe we just weren't used to Korean hotels heh. The bathroom had no separation door between cubicle and wash area, so none of us showered. It was too late to shower anyway. And thus our first night ended like that.

Day 2, Incheon/Seoul
We had breakfast at the hotel, then we went to some palace which was very boring, and very cold, so I obviously didn't enjoy myself much there. But we saw a pond that was partially frozen. Yeah that was cool. Then we had some crazyyyy lunch at some place.

After the freezing weather, we were all so relieved because the floor of the eatery was heated! Woohoo! And they way they serve food is so cool. They literally bring the table to you (with all the food already on the table).

Then we went to Yongin Everland and IT WAS SO SO SO COOL! It was where they shot a scene from Witch Yoo Hee too woohoo!

We took some chair lift rides and watched some 4-D show. Haha it was better than the one in China HAHAHAHHA. So with a 5-ride ticket, we were already 2 down. Then we (my siblings and I. My parents didn't really want to come with us. I think, it must be because we were openly planning to ride roller coasters and they weren't really up for it haha) couldn't decide what to do, so we just sat on the Ferris Wheel haha but we couldn't see much because the windows were scratched and blurred. Rahh.

Then we went for some Safari tour and it was so cool! The lions and tigers were living together, and the bears could stand up and ask for food! There were normal lions and tigers, and white lions and white tigers too! The bears were so cute. Like the bear in the Yupi advertisments, it could stand up, AND WALK! Haha so cute!

So we couldn't resist our urge and went to promptly queued for the roller coaster!!!! We went for the Red one, because it looked as though it had more 'Woohoo!' factor to it haha. Compared to the Yellow ride. Omg it was so nuts. It was my first time (yes I know, pathetic right) riding a roller coaster so I didn't really know what to expect. Omg going down was so exhilarating. It feels as though you leave all your innards at the peak of the roller coaster and just go down all the way. Way. fun.

Then after that we saw our parents and it was so funny. Because they didn't know what to use their rides on, they ended up at some cafe sipping hot chocolate. HAHA! Naturally, they declined our offer to take them on more roller coaster rides.

Then we went for the yellow ride which was called Eagle's something haha. I think it's Eagle's Peak haha. And instead of the normal roller coaster where the track is on the bottom of your 'carriage' thingy, this one you're dangling. So the track is on top. Cool huh! And it was even more fun than the Red one because it was longer. Haha my stupid sister was so noisy. Screaming so much. Tsk. And it was so funny. Because those people with those day passes were crazy. They kept going and going for the roller coaster rides! Insane. Haha.

So we used up all our rides so we just wandered around, bought some Churrios (korean snack that is supposedly very nice) and bought huge pencils. So cute! Haha.

Then we had some steamboat dinner which was quite sian-ish because we were the only ones at the huge eatery and it felt so awkward. Didn't help that I was feeling really really tired. Then we went to try on ski gear and this is the funny part!

This girl (shan't reveal her name) was so fat! Haha damn funny! Her mum was like "the length of the pants and all is okay, but then she can't button. Must be after such a filling meal. I think tomorrow will be fine" HAHAHHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAH okay I'm just being really mean but it's damn funny!!

Went to our hotel which was like the hotel I loved best. And also we got to stay two nights here hehe. The floor was heated! And so were the beds! It was sooo comfy! So I ended up lying in bed reading Angela's Eclipse.

Day 3, Seoul
We went skiing! It was so hard to wear the ski boots, and the skis were so darn heavy! I had serious issues clipping my boots to the skis, sigh it was SO EMBARRASSING. And we went skiing! It was so fun, but very very tiring. And my parents were totally hilarious! My mum fell as soon as she went to the top of the hill HAHAHAHHAHAH and she couldn't get up. Gave up trying to help her so I skied down first and when I got back to the place, EH! She was still there! My daddy too! They couldn't ski! Everytime they tried taking a step they fall. Haha so they gave up and went to sip hot drinks. Again.

And we didn't want to pay to sit on the chair lifts to bring us to the top of the hill because it was too expensive (40,000 won I heard) so we had to trudge up the hill for like five minutes to enjoy 20 seconds on skiing. GREAT. So we (my siblings and I, again, because my parents couldn't ski for nuts and gave up) and went to STARBUCKS hoho I bought a really nice green tea drink which my siblings found totally repulsive just because it was green. Poof.

Haha then dinner was so funny! I sat beside this small cute cute girl who was quite shy. But still, totally adorable. Then I asked her dad how old she was. And the father said five. Then she overheard and went
"她问你什么?"
"她问你几岁。"
"Huh她问你什么?"
"她问你几岁。"
"Huh她问你什么?"
"哎呀去吃饭去吃饭。"
Haha damn cute la she! Then we went to the supermarket and bought more food! I bought Ice Cream! Woohoo! And this night it snowed! So nice!!! And I ended up reading Eclipse again. But I finished it already, so I started from the top, just skipping the parts I don't really like haha.

Day 4, Seoul/Jeju Island
In the morning when we woke up, the whole place was snow! So nice! And my brother described it "It's like Mr. Men town. With all the snow on the floor, trees and rooftops" Couldn't have said it better myself. It was so beautiful.
Then we left the hotel and went to Nami Island, the place where the Winter Sonata was shot. Where they had what first kiss rubbish.

And I built a snowman! I built a minute one at first, then I proceeded to build a more ambitious one, which my sister totally destroyed because she thought the snow was so hard. So she grabbed the ball of snow that I made intended for the head and SLAMMED it into the body. Causing it to break apart. And my fantastic brother tried to help out also, and totally wrecked my snowman. I was very angry, and stormed off. >:(

Then my mummy found me all sad so she let me built a new snowman all by myself! Hoorah it was damn cute! And many people took photos with it too! Woohoo!!

Then we went to some Dong Dae Mun (pronounced dong da men in mandarin) which I seriously can't remember a thing about so I shall skip.

Then we took a domestic flight to Jeju island and they had free internet at the airport! So I used it to check my mail and all. A major feat, considering I had to figure out how to type in English because the keypads and Korean characters on them and I had to change the mode. No easy task, because I couldn't read a single word of Korean. Sigh. Then we stayed at some Jeju Oriental Hotel.

STUPID HOTEL! SO COLD! Couldn't sleep at all! And I woke up in the middle of the night to find myself curled up into a ball. Worse thing, I couldn't uncurl myself because when I stretched out my leg the bed was so cold! Gave up and attempted to sleep in a ball. Rahh.

Day 5, Jeju Island, Busan
We went to some Yong Duam Rock or some rock that supposedly looks like a dragon. Whatever haha. Then we went to Sungsan Ilchulbong peak which was so fun. We (my siblings and I. Mum was scared to climb. Scared she couldn't come down haha. Dad knew we would be too fast for him haha) climbed to the top of the peak! Woohooo! So fun man. But so tiring. And it was here I bought Sam's keychain! Haha!

Then we went for some ATV ride and I was the best rider among my whole family! My dad reached before me. Being curious, I asked why he was so fast. He said he gave up after one round (we went two rounds) haha and my sister who started out before me, was nowhere near when I finished. And her reason? It's seriously funny. There was this "Danger" sign, and she banged into it HAHAHAHHAH. My brother said he got derailed and couldn't reverse properly so he got stuck haha and my mum finished last of lasts. Haha. I should ride a real bike when I grow up ;)

Then we went to the tangerine farm, which was where they shot a scene from the first episode of My Girl and we could pick tangerines to eat! Woohoo!

Then lunch and sightseeing at the Jeju Folk Village which was where they shot a scene from Da Chang Jin haha and I took lots of nonsense photos and bought more Ice Cream!
Then we went to some mysterious road where the water flows uphill and what not. Actually it only seems like it but if you look at a map or whatever rubbish its the opposite. Not so amusing now that I know the science behind it haha.

Then we took a flish to Busan and dinner and check in.

Omgg I'm so tired. I'll continue another day haha.

Woohoo

Mood: Rahhhh.
Music: Uncle Kracker - Follow Me

You Scored an A

You got 10/10 questions correct.

It's pretty obvious that you don't make basic grammatical errors.
If anything, you're annoyed when people make simple mistakes on their blogs.
As far as people with bad grammar go, you know they're only human.
And it's humanity and its current condition that truly disturb you sometimes.
The It's Its There Their They're Quiz

Hah. It's no wonder I got an A for English for my EOYS :)

Korea Prelude

Mood: Anything but excited :s
Music: -

I'm leaving the airport in about one and a half hours. And I'm seriously not excited. This is quite bad. But I guess it's explainable because I'm going with my family, which I'm not particularly close to.

Hmmm youth camp was so fun! Even though I forgot to bring Eclipse, so I more than made up for it by reading until 3 last night :) I had WEIZHENNN as my roommate and games partner so everytime we were in the room we just kept discussing about the games haha. My house mates were Angela and Amelia, Yiwen and Leticia WOOOHOOOO.

I can't remember much about youth camp, but I'll attempt to blog about it so that I'll remember it haha. All I know was that I got dunked once, and had two buckets of water poured on me, just because I was the games master/mistress. :( Oh and Shuen's church went too, so I saw her heh.

And this boy ate NINE eggs for breakfast, and TEN slices of cheesecake for lunch. I.N.S.A.N.E.

Okay I need to read my Angela's Eclipse. Tooddles!
