Leaving On A Jet Plane

Cos I'm leaving on a jet plane...

Bahh I'm totally not prepared for China. My luggage is empty, I don't even know if my luggage'll be big enough HAHA. And I'm gonna miss a lot of things (events) that will be happening during my absence!

On the better side of things, I GET TO FLY AN AEROPLANE! I love airplanes. So fun! And I'll be travelling with Wig and Seeyue :D so I'm sure it'll be fun. I'll be rooming with Wig too! And we''ll just cube the whole night, or maybe just me, while she sleeps super early. Haha.

Mini fair

Music: Dashboard Confessional - Stolen

Have I mentioned that Dashboard is the best band ever?
I think I did haha. And I still think it's awesomeeee :)

Anyway today was mini fair. And I shall just rip everything from my xanga haha.
When I was in primary one, there would be game stalls lining the WHOLE quadrangle.
Boy was that fun.
This year there was the bouncy castle!
And we (my friends and I) were the FIRST customers!
Good thing too, because those primary school kids were really noisy, loud, irritating.
We wanted to bounce so hard they would fall, but we decided to be nice in the end :)
Compared to last year's, which basically consisted of me braiding people's hair, choosing my subject options, painting nails in class, this year was much more fun
Even though we had higher chinese (

), most of us were singing along to the songs blasting on the speakers, and humming silently to ourselves. :D
And this year I ate a lot a lot of food. Haha I'm terrible.

I've never been bombarded with so much chinese in my life. Other than when I was in China, in which the reason is of course, self explanatory.

Chinese from 9-11, then recess, then 1140-1. Oh my goodness. I can't believe I actually skipped a jazz concert for Chinese lessons. But I was too paiseh to raise up my hands when laoshi asked who wanted to leave. See I'm a good student after all(:

Okay maybe not so good. I have lots of Chinese homework to complete. :(

Okay I did rather alright for my exams overall (okay actually no really, but just way better than I expected)
I had an A2 for English! I was expecting a fail or C-something haha.
I had a freaking 47/50 for SS!
Which pulled up my history from C6 to A2!!!
But that. Gives me my only As. Heh.
Which means, no A1 for me.
Gosh I have such low expectations :(

But today, I'm a happy girl :)

Anyway my results have been far from satisfactory
I didn't even get a single A
At this rate, even if I get promoted I won't go anywhere after O levels with this kind of grades :(
I screwed up my BEST subject
I don't even wanna imagine what the rest is gonna be like.
And I just scraped the rest of my subjects.
I feel like a failure. I totally screwed up my whole life this year.

Proper Update

Okay it's not really a proper update. There's nothing much to update anyway.
For the record, I'm single through and through and have no more desire to get into another relationship until I'm past JC. Yeah.

And I've learnt how to do the Rubik's Cube with ONE HAND! But it takes awful long to finish it. And I hope Seeyue's learnt how to finish it. Haha.

On Saturday was kinda like Family Day, unofficially. My dad was so weird and wanted to bring the whole family to Macs for breakfast. Which didn't really end up too well haha :(
Then I skipped lunch because breakfast was awful filling, but my dad insisted on feeding me food, but the food I ate turned out to be like. Spoilt. :S
So I just ate some shortbread (omgg I love it!) and stuff.
Then the whole family tripped down to Billy Bombers for dinner, only to find out that we couldn't use the vouchers because it was a public holiday :( :(
And our bill came up to...worse than the coffee club's bill. HAHA.
And we saw a few church people, but thats about it.

Then my siblings and I walked around while my parents went to wherever.
And I psychoed my brother to borrow The Notebook for me! :D (And other NC16 movies haha)
My sis forbidded me to borrow any M18 movies, so, yeah. HAHA.

Bahhhh oh I got a new album!
Actually 2. *beams proudly*
Okay okay, 1 and a half. :(
On Thursday, I managed to persuade Luke to pay for my Dashboard album!
WOOHOOOO!
And on Saturday, I managed to persuade my brother to buy KT Tunstall instead of Kelly Clarkson because frankly, I can't stand the new Kelly Clarkson. :)

EOEOYS!

Haha omg it's EOEOYS! I'm so so so happy! Well, I was happy since physics, haha but it's OFFICIALLY end of exams!
But now i'm so worried for my results :(

Anyway today after school I went to town with April, Cheryl, Gissy and Nic went to town and the bus stop was super funny! And then we went to The Coffee Club at Ngee Ann City and we saw the menu and went "!@$%" Haha just kidding.

"It's not too late to leave..."
"Yeah! We can just go 'it's too cheap here' haha"
"And scarly they see us at MacDonalds later..."
(Chorused laughter)

"Do you guys want anything from Australia?"
"Oh no it's alright, save yourself the trouble(: "
"Nah I'll just get you guys some sweets then"
"Really? That's really sweet of you"

And we really almost fainted after seeing the bill, because we didn't factor in service charge and gst, (see the government is very good at extorting money from us you know) but we still wrote in the customer feedback form "First time eating and definitely coming back again" well I would, because the food's really swell, but only with my dad :D

After that Nic left, and she literally left for Australia. She's on the plane now. Have fun nice! Oh look at this conversation!

"Omg you make it sound as though she's gonna die"

HAHAHAHA.

Anyway Nic and Gissy left, and April, Cheryl and I wandered around for a bit. And like 50% of Mg girls were at town, and Cheryl abandoned us to watch a movie. And she felt so guilty haha!

Then April and I walked TONS (because we were really full) and I GOT MY RUBIK'S CUBE!

AND I CAN FINISH IT IN LESS THAN THREE MINUTES. :)

I didn't take pictures today, so its such a boring post. But I'll find a nice picture! :)

Middle!

Mood: Tired :O

Haha we're in the middle of exams now!
And I'll tell you how I'm faring.

English was the hardest English paper I've ever sat for (Both paper1 and paper2)

Higher Chinese was not too bad, the girl beside me was looking at her Chinese dictionary 50% of the time haha.

Chemistry was rather okay, a little hard, lost a few (okay maybe a lot haha), but still, I'm expecting a pass (I'm terribly ambitious haha)

Biology was easier than expected, but I always end up failing my bio papers, so I'm not really expecting much ahah!

Emath. The killer of all killer papers. OMG! Like seriously! Emath is my best subject, yet I've lost a total of more than twenty marks. I can kiss my A1 goodbye :(

Social Studies was rather alright, considering we only needed to study one chapter, and Nicole predicted what would come out! Amazing huh. Haha well at least I managed to answer the question :)

History was rather alright, just a bit (dammit, very) pissed of with the paper because the teachers kept going "Hint Hint" for the specific topic, which didn't come out at all! And it was the only topic I really concentrated on! (If I really did concentrate on any in the first place) So annoying okay! That got lots of people swearing after the exams haha.

11 papers done, 6 more to go!
And after that, shopping, and getting Dashboard's new album, and buying my Rubik's cube!

Watch this! Total coolness!

Actually I should be studying. Sigh I really have no social life. :( Bye!
