Indeed GOD IS GOOD, ALL THE TIME! ALL THE TIME, GOD IS GOOD! he has held the rain. and gave us showers of blessings after, before, but never during the show. esp on the last night. Indeed the rain before the show was showers of blessing. It was so good, so many people cried. I would have if I had felt more part of it haha but thats not the point so anyway.

Life after the musical feels so...empty. =/. I have sort of gotten into the study mood. Oh wait, im still here blogging haha nevermind. Just that i feel such a sense of urgency to finish up my 34983758374 tasks awaiting to be done. REALLY doesnt help that my piano exam is tomorrow. And that my internet explorer is not working, only firefox. damn that LEAD. why cant it just work on firefox. or you can just work on firefox alone. then everyone will dl firefox. andthe world will be a better place.

obviously my mum has no idea firefox is a web browser, its NOT A VIRUS OMG DOESNT MEAN VIRUSES MAKE IT POP UP SINCE IS THE DEFAULT INTERNET BROWSER, MEANS ITS A VIRUS. walau and she told the technician "ne ge firefox mei ci pop-up, hao xiang virus" (that firefox window keeps popping up, like a virus) and when i told her its not, she started talking all sorts of rubbish.

And today. I got to know my desk partner a lil better. how i wish we could just switch lives for a day. how i wish to have a NORMAL mum. BAH.

OH EW THERES THIS GIRL BESIDE ME IN THE COMPUTER LAB. shes like some avid westlife-fan gone MAD. she went to their website and all. and then she went youtube to view their "I lay my love on you" video OMGGGGG. HAHAHAHAHA. then she has like 1234567890 of their pictures on the computer. i think shes just viewing them. haha who the hell likes westlife now. at least be quiet about it. dont publicily view them haha. if i not wrong its this sec 1 girl haha okay i shall not say too much and embarrass her. actually, i think i know her. :S haha

It was really fun and I enjoyed it a lot. Even though it was really tiring. Everything was still worth it. The last day was the best even though we had to clean the hall. We had really fantastic dinners which made everyone jealous especially on the last night where we had pizza. :P On the last night, the suprisingly quiet handbell choir turned into scary camwhores.

And I'm too lazy to talk about the rest but here are the pictures.

Music - I predict A Riot

Everytime before I blog, I have so many thoughts and things to say. Then everytime i come to this page to type, everything just goes blank, and the whole entry just becomes a how-a-day-in-my-life-has-been post. fantastic aint it.

Anyway. Yeah. I feel like, i shouldnt be in the musical at all. I mean like, Im sacrificing all my e-learning days and sleep just for that 1 cca point?! I wasting all that time that i could use to go online to chat, do e-learning, talk on the phone, do my piano, brush up on my html/css skills. they should just send handbells for a recording and play it there and then. Or they should just play some christmas carols or ask choir girls to sing again. that way, they can save on money, food, logistics, electriticty, time, and in other words, more money for MGS.
see? its a win-win situation. It makes both priscilla and ms kon happy. nice right? not that i would make a very big difference right. if i wasnt there, the total estimated 1800 audience wouldnt notice, and the finale wouldnt be anything less than perfect. if i wasnt there, they really wouldnt notice me, cos im not someone whos acting a mean character.
not that im complaining of being a 'supporting actress', because im not even one. im lower than that. handbells and strings dont even get piority. so what if God has blessed me with the ability to play bells - which in this case, MOST people find it totally easy. well its easy to ring on your own, thats cos you cant a lot of music with only 4 bells in one hand. but if you try ringing with a whole choir, and everyone has to watch the conductor and their score, and count with beat, and ring when you need to. its not that easy. but anyway. so what if He has? if people dont appreciate it, why then do they ask us to perform? we might as well dont if they come up to us and say "handbells is so easy, i bet i could play." and "handbells? practice what practice. i bet your five hours of practice isnt even worth my 1 hour of netball training." then whats the point right. we might as well just stick to our normal handbells practice sessions, and treat each and everyone like a performance just for God.
im not saying that every performance we ring, i must have people coming up to me and say "wow thats really great i enjoyed it." i dont mind if no one comes to us and say that. but can the audience just show that tiny bit of respect that we deserve. when you guys play a netball or tennis match, we cheer and are attentive. so why is it that you guys cant just sit and listen? why do you have to talk to your friends how pathetic handbells is?! tennis is really easy too. you just take the ball, throw it and hit it. then you see it coming back to you, you just hit it back. DUH. netball also. you take the ball and throw to your team member. the shooter gets the ball and shoot. so what kind of training do you need! if people in the netball training/club can play proper netball, how come some (not pointing fingers to anyone) in the handbells training cant ring properly? doesnt it show that handbells is also a difficult thing. but whatever right. people dont really care. and how expensive can a netball get. maximum 500 bucks? thats not even WORTH HALF of what ONE bell costs.
i keep telling myself that i have to ring for the joy of the Lord, but how often can i do that. the only time i feel like im really ringing for Him, is during the practice sessions, not the actual performance itself. just like when i sing the finale, i dont feel myself singing for God, just singing for the sake of singing. so many times i wish that you would just come and watch me play. but now, i'd reather not have any audience. because it is then that everything becomes a show. and everyone hides behind pretty make up and attire, and performs not just for the Lord, but for the ever-critising audience. and everyone pastes plastic smiles on their face, where not a single strand of hair is out of place, because then it would be considered messy. and people dont get to see you for you as it is. it is also when you share your attention between the Lord and the audience. and chances are, you often give God 0.01%, and the other 99.9% is to the audience, hoping that they wouldnt notice that mistake, hoping the conductor doesnt stare at you, and DYING for the camera man to take a photo shot of you ( well the last one's not for me). honestly, how often when you perform, you block out the audience and replace them with God. well i'd be honest and say, almost never. even during founders day and opening ceremony. whatever. I'd much rather be in the training group.

strangely, if they kicked me out of the musical, i would be more happy than sad. i dont really care anymore.

wether you read that or not, i dont really care. because its just what i think. if you can make all these wishes of mine come true. well i'd say you're my fairygod mother. if you dont know what they are, then dont bother because the above was just so full of shit.
the only fun time in the musical is when we're not playing, and we're not doing the finale. and to top this fantastic feeling, i got scolded on wednesday for maiking a statement, not talking back to a teacher. whatever.

Can you just put a name to it. oh well. Theres like so many unspoken words, and so many questions that i feel like asking. Just that im afraid. yes. im afraid things will turn from bad to worse. and you'll think all sorts of weird things. and actually the shoutout i gave to you was so short. if you wonder why, its because theres just too many things to say to you that wouldnt be right putting here. its just all weird. its gonna be a feel more months before it becomes one year since i first met you. it sounds so long, but yet it only seems like i met you yesterday. oh i know it sounds to cliche and all, but time flies so fast, its scary. and its like you're fading away from me right before my very eyes. im telling you now i dont like it one bit. you might have found me irritating or annoying thats why you dont reply me __ ____ ________. but if i am, just tell me because i want to improve not only as a person, but also as a friend to you. i really sincerely hope that we can bridge this gap that appeared from i-dont-know-when/where because you mean more to me than you ever knew. i used to confide in you many things, even if they were just on msn. and we would talk about religion, school, people etc. but now it just feels like you're oblidged to reply me. so, i hope you see this and just send me and email ok? :)

today had founders day. I was so tired I think i fell asleep in front of al lthe guests and VVIP but I dont really care. I screwed up my part of the song. But guess what. I dont really care.

I think I'll take a hiatus or something. Its time to get out, breathe the fresh nice fragrant air of THE BUKIT TIMAH MARKET HAHAHAH MONICA.

A few more days till my piano exam and strangely i kinda feel like failing. Boooooo. Wow its been since MARCH since I met two of my closest friends and im DYING to see them some time soon. Because I dont want to lose anymore friendships. ive lost a few, but now come to think of it, Im pretty glad because in order for God to fill my life with beter things and people (like my two friends (: ), He has to take some away - just like for Ruth in the bible.

School is so sick. Esp _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _. Aiyah i mean everyone thinks its so stupid and easy. but its not. Playing Sonatina In C on the piano is like 12345 times more easier than playing it on THAT. But oh well. its not just one note you are playing. its 2, sometimes even up to EIGHT. and try doing that on the spot when you've got eight notes. not that easy huh. esp when the speed is going at insane speeds. and you're not just a person, you're a team. "There's no 'I' in team." UNDERSTAND. so we must all have the same tempo, going at the same speed, reading the score at the same time. NOT EASY. hmph. and stupid miss***. HUH SAY WE LAOPOK AND WHATEVER. HOW DO YOU EXPECT US TO GIVE OUR BEST AND EVERYTHING WHEN YOU DONT EVEN GIVE US ANY PIORITY AND RESPECT?! YOU GIVE THE DANCE CLUB MORE RESPECT EVEN THOUGH THEY MANAGED A SILVER FOR SYF AND WE DID A GOLD. KAPOOF LA I DONT WANT TO JOIN _________ ANYMORE.

Yay okay yesterday was really fab!! :) Even if packing everything was so horrible, because the stupid bus uncle came with a full boot, we had to carry ALL the heavy bell boxes up. NOT FUNNY OKAY. oh well.

see? she took that! :) okay okay whatever. The place is pretty nice. They said that they would clear the holding room, but obviously I dont think they did so.

OH MAN ZIZOU GOT SENT OFF. :( damn weird la he just started head-butting the person. WOWWWWW. And Henry got sub-ed. no wonder they lost on penalties. DUH. =/. poof. haha my brother was so cutee. he fell asleep halfway and i couldnt wake him up until i shouted "WALAU ZIDANE GOT RED CARDED!!"

HOORAH GERMANY WON PORTUGAL 3-1!!! yipee. Even if it's only third-position play-off, nevertheless, my german boys didnt disappoint me :)

OHYEAHH. Schweinsteiger scored two goals, and Portugal HAD to let in an own gaol *smirks* the only thing was that i didnt hear my alarm hence couldnt call ken. oh well.

Church today was actually really fun and nice! Sunday School was only joanna and me though. oh well all the better since today's lessons were pretty personal heh.

oh LUNCH!! Jolene was pinching AhCheng's nose. Then if someone pinches your nose you cant articulate your words properly. So oh the phone Lenard said "......" Then the person on the other line couldnt hear him.

"What?! You're in PAKISTAN?!"

'NO!!!!!!! I'M NOT IN PAKISTAN! I'M IN CHOA CHU KANG!!!'

oh my goodness that was like the ultimate funny thing of today. i was laughing non stop for so long haha. And then after that i told Jolene "Jolene you better take your fingers off Lenard, if not your fingers will get infected."

AND THEN...she took her fingers off almost immeditely, and gave lenard a WEIRD stare, and she started wiping her fingers all over AhCheng's shirt haha. And thus, leaving Weifen to proclaim "Prisci 1, Lenard 0!!"

YIPEEE. And well, its a fun time at church. I've actually felt like switching churches a few times since i know so many people from FMC and WRPF. But after a while, I realise that I love my church friends too much :) And Ken's football knowledge is cool haha. yeah as usual, went with my 7-11 partner and then the Newpaper was like. THE EARLIER VERSION so i practically wasted my money. oh well. at least we had some analysis of the match. so it was pretty good.

And Ken and Joel were trying so hard to guess the differences of my 7-up can and Ken's 7-up's can. And the answer? Ken's can has both his and my fingerprints on it, while mine has only MY fingerprints. and a few others, which they all didnt believe poof.

OLIVER KAHN IS RETIRING. :( i remember in 2002, my sister loved Kahn lots. Heh. and we were watching him play also in the Germany vs Holland friendly in 2003. That was really funny because my brother skipped the match, thinking he already watched it. (When in face, he DREAMT he watched the match. haha loser.)

the day i sent you a cheer-up card, then i BROKE the ONLY gift you gave me. :'( sigh. you've no idea how sad i am. i hope it doesnt mean that if its broken, our friendship is broken. noooo. no. no no no no no no no no no no. please. :(. why doesnt it have to break. its not fair. why was it so fragile. or maybe i was too violent haha. but in anycase. i didnt mean for it to break. poof.

ken bluffed me! urgh! he told me like saturday - meaning sunday early morning. but i thought he meant saturday early morning. bah! so i called at like 5am haha. oops. and i slept like 1 whole hour during handbells whoo. okay bye im out.

Today, after 123456789 months and days, i finally went to town again wheeee. and i went with daphie-doodles for the first time(: was supposed to meet voon, but she couldnt make it. so oh well, its really fun going with daphie(:.

hmm lets see. we were observing people on the bus and because the ride was so darn long, we saw claire(her sister) and estelle HAHA. then we kept talking about the sleeping security guard haha! we wandered around, and found out that Mos burger didnt sell their shakes temporarily. :( and we walked in circles like 987654321 times wa lau. oh well. its soo fun. too bad didnt bring me camera. and we wandered around heeren for sooo long. we looked havianas and realised i couldnt afford them at one go. so heck.

we went to buy strings! then we went to buy beads and thread names for each other. so now we have a secret bond friendship HEHE. ALL YOU DUDES DONT HAVE!!! :P. so pweety.

haha then we had this "find-a-claire" mission and guess what? WE FOUND CLAIRE!! :) haha then we stayed at borders for like really long, amusing ourselves with optical illusions haha.

Poldoski so could have scored. and whats the meaning of scoring TWO GOALS at the last 3 minutes of extra time?! ive got no mood to sleep after that, and i kept stoning in the car on the way to school haha. man. germany lost lost lost! sigh. i never thought that i'd actually shed tears over them. but hey, ive been supporting them ever since world cup 2002. :(

Yuck. it really urghs me out to see how people are so 'faithful' in supporting countries for the world cup. its either you do, or you dont. simple as that. you dont just 'support' the most hyped-up or touted "best" country. you try so hard so that you can have a topic to discuss with girls and boys who follow the world cup. then you act all passionate when you dont even know who's in the country you're supporting. then you just go round saying brazil's gonna win when you dont even know whos brazil gonna play against. and then when they lose, you just go on and support the next-best country. urgh. please. either you be a true supporter, or just don at all. because if you're trying to fit in, its not happening.

poof. enough ranting. but yea. it does erk me out when people try too hard. no one's forcing you to supporting anything, so just dont la! aiyoh. simple as that.

but after world cup is over, i hope i can still be as passionate as football as i am for now because i've learnt so much more about the players and the game this past month. and of course, its a great way to bond with friends. :)

OH DEAR OH DEAR. but then again, HAHA TAKE THAT ALL YOU PEOPLE WHO SUPPORT ENGLAND AND BRAZIL! GERMANY'S THE BEST!

So now, portugal's gonna meet France in the semis. may france win because im angry at portual for winning england. now nicole owes me corntos for real. but i think she'll be too sad to buy me heh.

Today's baptism/18th Anniversary wasnt all that bad. haha. its fun. at least i didnt get like a whole bowl of water on my head while being baptised.but i still got ~~wet~~ DRENCHED thanks to luwin, joshua and jeremiah during youth games after lunch. and the best thing was that it was warm water yuck. poor ken got giddy after a while. haha i hope you're alright dude. :) because of that, i've bathed 3 times in less than 24 hours haha. YUCK.

i ~~swear~~ promise that i'll stay a clean girl from now on and not let the bimbotic luwin throw water and me anymore. =). haha.

yay im so happy. i almost screamed at full time after penalties. and i was praying darn hard through the match.

YO KEN YOU LOST! YOU LOSER :P now i can kill you on sunday for saying such mean things about germany. but truth be told, i'll be really disappointed and embarrassed if germany lost (which they didnt and hopefully won) because i talk too much about germany haha.
