Sunday's church was funny. Early Sunday School with Weizhen, and breakfast. Kelvin bought moudly bread at a dubiously dingy store it was really really gross. "I was spamming Mentos" HAHAHA. Lunch and tuition on man what a tiring day. Slept for 12 hours and here I am.

Just watched Knocked Up and it's such a gross movie. It's crassy, the jokes are crude (not to mention totally not funny) and whatever whatever whatever.

Boring day. My exciting week starts on Wednesday!

Symphony Mg.08!

The concert was so so so so swell! Went to Hebron youth service with Dannn hahahah we were total strangers to everything around us. And when we stood up for worship, I was in between him and his friend (who was equally tall) and they laughed at me sigh :(

After like, our 1000th attempt at taking a shot. Why? Because he keeps forgetting I'm short and puts the camera too high. Either that, or its to mock me.

Then it was polishing bells time! Oh oh and before the concert Dan and Ee were being total retards. They kept sending random smses like

Yesterday

I realised I didn't blog the whole week. But no worries! You didn't miss much of my life. And also because I haven't been online the whole week. Well, mostly.

Piano exammmmm.
My pieces were quite well done. (read: better than my normal horrible standards = slightly below average for normal standard hah) and everything was quite okay.
EXCEPT MY AURAL OMG OMG. It was really really bad. I can't even begin. But now that's over and done with, it's time to celebrate! (And study sigh)

After handbells, Monica, Tiffany and I went to Ngee Ann City's Seoul Graden (DTG WOOHOO) and without student price, IT'S REALLY EXPENSIVE. Last time six of us (the dinnertablegang) went, it costs us a total of $84++. And this time, when it was only three of us, it came up to $90++!!! SERIOUSLY. I'm so broke now. Anyone wants to donate to the 'Save-a-Priscilla' foundation? (:

And because we all paid so much, we seriously decided to eat our worth. So we sat, and ate and talked and drank and ate and talk and drank and ate and talk and drank and...you get the picture. We ate from 7-9 how crazy is that! Then we surprised Monica with a fake cake (since after a very expensive dinner we had NO MONEY left to buy a cake) and we were attempting to light it but TIFFANY'S MATCHSTICKS WERE SPOILT and everyone looked at us when I gave Monica her cake.

"Here Monica. This is for you. We um, had no money to buy a cake"
*stares at disbelief at three slices of watermelon stacked on top of one another, with agar and rasins surrounding it*
Haha the cake was real pretty alright! Just that we were all too full to eat. So I just ate the agar while Monica ate one slice of her cake. Haha. And Tiffany says,"Look! It's literally a FRUIT CAKE!" yes yes. Haha.

And other funny stuff. After being very full, we walked around and did some shopping! On impulse, I bought some Winnie the Pooh paper (IT'S SO CUTE SERIOUSLY) and a pouch for Edward and my phone!

OH YES! Speaking of phone! I've changed my phone. Yet again! But instead of upgrading, I've downgraded my phone TWICE in two weeks how sad is that. After my white phone spoilt (I'm still not over this), my sister gave me her old phone, which turns of at sporadic intervals of times and can never charge properly. So I've got Joanne's old phone. Even though it's old, it's totally gorgeous! I love love love the colour scheme of the phone. It's so metallic and..wow.

The colours are nice right! My favourite is the second and 4th one (the one I'm using now). Actually, I like all. Ah! Pretty phones indeed. :)

Did some shopping, and now I have a grand total of less than $5 in my wallet. Time to search my house for money that I accidentally leave lying around! :)

Arts Invasion

I know.. I seem to be having an 'Our Lady Peace' obsession, but I can't help it. They're really good!

Anyway. There seems to be an invasion of the Arts these days and it's making me really happy!

Last Saturday (2806) was BBoyz And Ballerina
It was really really fun and nice. Agreed to meet Cheryl and Nic at 545 but these guys were not even fashionably late. They were EXTREMELY LATE! I called Cheryl and 545. "Uh wait. Let me finish one more math question!" Talk about hardworking man. And hence I used that time to scout for my Founder's dress with my mummy and it was successful! I now have a very pretty green dress in my wardrobe waiting to be worn on the 25th of July :)

When we got there it was pure chaos and we kept laughing until my mum shot us really disapproving looks which made us shut up haha. After the show was over, all of us (minus my mum) became super excited when we managed to take a picture with the Dancing Crew!!!! :) :)

Went outside to take lots of silly pictures. Ahh I've never felt so alive in such a long time. And the best part of the night? After we left, THE BBOYZ CREW CAME OUT AHHHH!!!! So yes. We could take individual shots without annoying people pushing us ahhhh!!

HEHE SO CUTE :D

And that's about as climatic as my night went. Came back, and fell asleep.

And yesterday was Dance Night!
Sharon was really really good. She just hogged the limelight (which is a good thing) and it was so amazing to see her dance. WOW. It was my first dance night, and I thoroughly enjoyed myself. After the show we went to explore the school and it was really cool. MG looks really pretty at night I must say (: and we sneaked up to the rooftops haha! And this time I stayed longer than two minutes.

Last time I went was during Band(age), with NicH. And we went there, got so hyped up, but didn't know what to do. So after taking photos as evidence we made it to the rooftops, we were like," Um...alright let's go back. Cheap thrill's over" HAHAHA.

This time I stayed to walk to whole place, and admired the stars because the school was so dark. Where I stay, it's too bright to see any stars. Especially when the government just decided to construct a lamppost directly behind my backyard. (read: less than one metre away from my house urgh) Talk about lack of privacy or dian deng pao sigh.

Anyway. After looking at the stars I made my way down to kap to meet my family. And I bumped into Abraham. For like, the third time in a night seesh. And guess who I saw at Kap! AMY AND SEEYUE! :D hahahhahaha we were just talking and laughing our heads off. (:

And today is my sister's choir concert at the Esplanade. I can't blog about it because I haven't seen it yet. (rather obviously) But Rodney and John is going, and so is Daniel hahaha. Daniel and I were comparing tickets today.

Me: Where are you sitting!
Dan: I don't know. I paid $20 for mine. You?
Me: Oh I'm sitting in circle1. Complimentary.

WOOHOO.

Three arts events in one week. Really cool. And coming up is the handbells concert yay! Just that. We need tons more practice haha. Come on guys! We can do it! On the other hand, another not so cool arts event is my piano exam, which is driving me nuts. But I have Rodney to teach me! Hahaha today's lunch was really really funny. Lenard is seriously the best. "Problem solved!" Hahahahah. (sorry inside joke, can't say here)

Today is Wednesday

Music: HANDBELLSSSSS =D

I wasn't really looking forward to so many handbell practices ("I wanna study" "Now I can't study") and whatnots. But then, my juniors are so cute (adorable/endearing rather) and the pieces we play are so nice and just the feeling of holding those golden thingies and I realised... I really did miss handbells. No matter how much I say I don't, no matter how much I want to study and not indulge in what I like, I cannot deny that I don't love handbells, and it will always, always, be my first love. (Not counting God)

And I get so excited when I talk about it, and I cant wait to share my love for bells, and it's such a pity I may never have a chance of playing them in less than 3 months time. Oh gosh, I do not want to think about leaving. It's too sad.

Handbells is tough, my fingers and knuckles are bruised and red (but now it's only bruised) and the hours are long and standing for a few hours in a row is not easy, and trying to master your own notes while making sure everyone else master's their own notes is no easy feat either, but I will not give up. I will trust in God for strength and providence and hope and I know that together, with God and as a choir, with dedication, determination and faith, we will be able to do this. :)

Rachael Yamagata's music never fails to make me feel so full of emotion, yet peaceful at the same time. Those memories, those memories.
If I remember them, will I be able to move on?
If I forget them, isn't it such a pity to forget something that used to be so beautiful?

Sometimes I hate myself because I have such a horrible history. I'm thankful those I knew before last year could accept me for who I was, I'm thankful those that I've gotten to know don't know about my past.

It's amazing how time passes so fast. How your whole life can be so different in a span of one year. How your priorities shift, the way you look, the way you talk and converse with people, your music taste, and so many other things. It's amazing how people come and go, and it's even more amazing how friends stay beside you no matter what.

I wanted to blog about my day, but I'm in such a thinkish mood I don't think I will heh.

It's been such a long time since I opened her CD, partly because I mostly listen to Edward now, and secondly because it's autographed (!!!!) so I don't want to spoil it. Anyway I realise I haven't been updating much, even though I'm always online aha!
BECAUSE! I've been getting major major music fixes it is so cool!
And I was putting songs into Cheryl's thumbdrive, and I put so many until her thumbdrive ran out of space and only had something like 135kb (not mb) left haha!

Anyway school has been somewhat slack. Today was such a horrible day at school.
We had some speech thing and like the first girl was just TOTALLY WEIRD. Like, suddenly I seem so normal. And even YUXI would seem perfectly sane and normal beside her. Everyone in my class just went "??" it was rather funny. But yeah. I fell asleep for like, more than half the thing.

Haha! But don't write me off a lazy! I was studying history last night! That's why I was so tired yawnnn. And PE was such a crazy affair. I am even more certain now that I'll never get my perfect score this year :(
Got back a few tests, which I barely passed. This sucks okay I've never felt so sad in the whole week.

But when I came home, I got my music fix so I'm much happier :)
And look! I did my good deed for the day!

Band[Age]

WAS TOTALL OWN[AGE] MAN! :)

Okay I shall be cool and blog about my very happening weekend :D

I. Friday
CROSS-COUNTRY! Arghh it was so wet and all, I had a very very great urge not to run.
But but, since it was my last cross country, (actually every school even I'll take part it will be my last damnit) I decided I didn't want to screw it up so I just ran. And it's only 2.8. I'll just take it as training for my 2.4 and get my perfect score again! :D
Finished around 15minutes, not bad for my totally unfit body whose only exercise consist of the 4 rounds I do during PE every week haha.

After running, apparently I turned red :( And we just sat on the sand, while Nic was drawing on the sand, and acting emo.

Lunch with my juniors at The Yacht Club. NEVER ask Cherry and Tiffany for directions you'll end up walking 1234567times more the actual distance needed hahahahha. Then we went to shower hohoho :) And Lunch and our food took so super duper long to arrive we wanted to complain. And after a run, a very hungry Priscilla Chan went to finish up everyone's leftovers hehe :D

II. SATURDAY
Oh man Band[age] was seriously ownage!!!! Livebox (Fairfield) performed I'd Do Anything and Iris, and Tolstoy (MG!), which had the loudest most deafening cheers of all, played Zombie and Hard to Beat, and Finding Michelle (ACSI) played Time After Time (whoots whoots!) and Afterglow.

Interval! And I met Sharona, Freddy, SamChong, Gerald, Ziteng and a million other people and then Tiffany and I went to ring bells! Ahh..those Expresso days. I miss them like crazy!

After interval, One Hot Minute (NJC) played Found A Way and The Remedy. The lead singer was incredibly cute! :D Then Ten Minutes Late (HCI) played Sweet Child o' Mine and uh uh. Crap I can't remember SOMEONE ENLIGHTEN ME! [edit]Someone said it was an original song. BUT WHAT'S THE TITLE OF THE ORIGINAL SONG! :( [/edit]

One Hot Minute. I totally heart the lead singer! :D

Ten Minutes Late

THEN IT WAS REDEEMING THE RIOT that totally brought the house down! With All Time Low's Six Feet Under The Stars for the underground fans and The Click Five's Jenny for the not so-underground fans, they catered to everyone's ears and captivated both audiences and judges. Well they certainly won my heart! (And my vote too haha) Grrrrreat job to Nathan and the rest! :) So proud of you guys. From losing to Finding Michelle during BOB2 Auditions, to OWNING all the other bands, you guys are incredible!
No pictures of them performing, because I was videoing them. No videos here either (as of now) because I accidentally set my video resolution too high so I'm sending it over to Nathan and he'll convert it and send it back to me :)

REDEEM MY RIOT! :D

Then StellaStory went to guest perform and the lead's pants were so so lowwww you could see his red boxers and not only that, if you just gave it a little teeny weeny tug, it'll fall off. Makes you wander about the efficiency of his belt huh =/

III. Sunday
Church was extremely tiring because after Band[age] I was sad so I couldn't sleep and I think I just cried myself to sleep at 3am, after finishing a book. Then I was just stoning out during Sunday School and lunch and choir and sports day! :)

It was quite fun I guess. Lenith was seriously funny.

HAHAHAHA!

Anyway we were too old to take part in the kid's stuff, so we just sat around, finding funny things to do with your body. So they asked me to do this pose that pose, and got so freaked out that Rodney (A medical student) commented "when you die you should donate your body for us to study" HAHAHA.

Dinner at Forture (really! That's what the sign said) Restaurant with Nithe, Liquan, Lenard, John, John's parents, Nithe's parents, my family minus my brother who went overseas (but I don't know where for don't know what whoops) to celebrate LENARD CHENG'S 4As for A levels! :)

IV. Monday
Bio lesson which was..well..yeah.
Went to town to watch Leap Years. And I'm sorry to my friend for suddenly breaking down at the end. It wasn't intentional :( Then got a new CD! Just Surrender's We're In Like Sin :) They didn't have the secret band I was looking for :(

Okay I so totally want to blog about Band[Age] BUT BUT BUT
I realised my video is too huge to be uploaded onto youtube and I haven't uploaded all my pictures!
SO, it means I'll be the most outdated person and blog it like, Tuesday since tomorrow I won't be free. Haha.

BUT CONGRATULATIONS TO REDEEMING THE RIOT! (Esp Nathan Not-so-KHOO) I'm so proud of you guys! :) :D :) :D

Anyway in short, it was aweeeeseome beyond awesome.
Just that, after all those highs, when you come down, I don't know if it's just me or what, but I'll be even more down than I was before.
Which resulted in insomnia and disturbing a friend (whoops I'm so sorry) and reading about other people's lives (fiction, no less) so i would be so into the story and not think about my own pathetic life.

I hate crying myself to sleep. I haven't done that in a long while.
And it doesn't feel nice.
I keep thinking of all the whatifs.

What if we were still together, would I have been with my friends? Or with yours?
You had no idea how hard it was for me to look at your friends and not think of you, or what could have been, would have been. I miss your voice, your company, your embrace. I miss being with you, I miss the past. But you know what's the worst part?
That I know we can never get that back again, even if we tried.

Just Surrender!

Today I hit my head. TWICE. I feel so unlucky.

CHEM SPA!
I totally screwed it up hahahah. I forgot to add distilled water to my solution, and when I erased my graph Mrs Lim went "PENS DOWN!" And started tapping at my table dammit. Haha.

First time was after Chem SPA, then we were all getting changed for PE, then I was throwing the stupid Ang Bao into the dustbin in the toilet. And I went "DAMN YOU, SPASTIC HONG BAO!" and then when I lifted up my head, BANG! I hit the toilet roll thingy. You know, those huge circular things pasted on the wall, with those perforated lines? Yeah I hit those, WITH the perforated lines. OUCH OUCH OUCH :(

To top things off, I forgot to take my pinafore after PE so I only had my blouse. I feel like a freaking loser hahahha. So during recess I had to run all the way back to the PE hall haha.

Then at home, I hit my head on the keyboard holder/stand/whatever cos I was trying to reconnect my mouse that suddenly stopped working. Gave up and restarted my computer haha.

And I officially hate History lessons. (or the teacher).

PASSIONE! Was quite a success I guess. Even though I made A LOT of mistakes haha.

I saw josephchua! :D And he was with this girl called Chris hahaha and later...NATHAN came haha! Omg he was being so spastic, waving non stop haha nathan just cracks me up everytime haha! And he and joseph werent really paying lots of attention, always looking down ahha!

Anyway I really liked the concert! Even though if i really made a lot a lot of mistakes

Handbells

Before I go on to what I want to say, OMG 30 SECONDS TO MARS IS SO GOOD :)

Anyway. Tomorrow's my handbells concert. And in my illustrious (okay kidding haha) career of handbells, I have never had a HANDBELL CONCERT OMGGG.

I remember in primary 5, when I first joined handbells, my first note i played was G4A4. And I played All Hail King Jesus haha. And the next year, in primary 6, I went for my first syf. I actually had one in primary 2, but that was for choir. And I so didn't know what was syf. I just thought it was a performance. I didnt even know what was happening hahah so i guess that isnt really counted. And we got GOLD! :D I THINK for the choir syf I had a gold too. I'm not really sure.

Oh yeah I remember in primary two I sang for some open house thing. And i looked like a RETARD. haha!

Back to handbells.
So, after joining handbells in sec 1, I was put in the beginning (as everyone else was) and being really BAD at names, I never knew anyone except my neighbour davina, and those in my level. (i didnt even know monica EXISTED!)

And we got chosen to help out in the syf, and some performance that the performing group did at the esplanade. And it was so crazy funny. With tiffany, isabel and cherie playing the SAME ringtone on their SAME phones haha!

And soon... promotion time came! And I got promoted! Along with Tiffany, Cherie, Monica and Petrina :)

Our first performance was at Marina Mandrin, and my notes were B6C7 :) And standing beside the chairman (laoda!) was SO SCARY.

HAHA.
Then came CAROLLING! At novena square.

In sec2, we played for Prefect's Installation, Founders Day, Open Ceremony, MUSICAL!OCC physics olympiad :), PRESIDENT'S STAR CHARITY!, some Taka thing, and some christmas thing. OH YEAH. Lighting up ceremony. Is that all?

Oh well. and in sec3, was prefect's installation, which felt very weird because there were no more sec4s :( then...SYF. And we got a gold! I remember crying haha. :) and since syf, we've been dying practicing for our concert.

TOMORROW'S THE DAY! WE CAN DO IT!
